Something I always liked about wormholes is the need to choose carefully about what you bring, due to mass limitations you can't just bring whatever you want. However tech 3 cruiser fleets can move through by the hundreds, I feel this negates the best part of wormhole space. So wouldn't a limiter that causes hole collapse after x number of ships jumping through, or becomes unstable due to repeated use, create a better and more strategic enviroment again? Just an idea I wanted to grab some feedback on, as I feel tech 3 cruiser blobs have become the epidemic of wormhole space. |

You mean like wormhole mass restrictions?
seriously, the problem isn't the wormholes, it's the corps. If you get blobbed, either run, hide, or change your tactics.
You're young, you'll adjust.
I'm old, I'll get used to it.

See, there's your problem, right there.
Tech 3 blobs are what keep WH space exciting in some ways. Keep in mind that they're so fabulously popular because they're the premiere platform that allows you to attack an enemyl fleet, and because like you mentioned they have low mass. Without the tech 3 option, capitals at home would be just that much more invincible.
If you'd seek to restrict that, you might see more BS gangs, but ultimately what you're asking for is a major limiter for WH apex forces. That's not going to happen.
Sorry about your feels.
Yeah, well, it's just like my-áopinion, man.

T3s really aren't the issue. It's just that until they are properly put down, they will be known as OP - and once they're gone and all the scrubs got their CS V, they'll notice how an astarte does roughly the same as a prot with 15% more dps, minus the pointrange and premium buffer. Blasterfit Astartes are even plain superior to a prot in pretty much any regard, but don't tell anyone.
It's usually the number disparity or the massive difference in organization that secures a win.

Aren't we "post-T3 blobs" now-a-days anyways? We rarely encounter T3 + guardians anymore, more times than not we bump into HAC's and BC's lately. I just assumed the trend was already waning. :)

When that blob of 5 ships come, pos up right away. This is a fight you cannot win.
Although t3's are pretty powerful, Im sure the community will be more the happy to share some setup's, ways to break T3 gangs in your home system.

So you want to remove the main income of w-space ? If you remove the apex force of t3's, then geuss what it will be replaced by an other apex force(command ships). The only thing you will be doing by nerfing t3 's is killing all isk making potential in w-space. |

Astarte Sig Radius: 300m Proteus Sig Radius: 168m
Astarte EHP: 96K Proteus EHP: 150K
You really would give up 33% of your buffer and almost double your sig radius for a 15% increase in DPS? |

When blapping dreads arent involved in the fight its a valid choice. But since they cost the same and T3 is less skill intensive .. |

I'm pushing for a hull-tanked BC doctrine, but am hitting a lot of resistance within our corp. Festival launchers in the highs, natch.

So what was the last time you had a non-strategic level engagement where your bufferprot was dropping below 30% armor without your logi being ****, what was the last time a dread actually targeted your ship and was close enough to blap you it would've gotten you if you sat in an astarte, and what was the last time you cried because your prot gets jammed by a set of EC-300s? Doubleneuts on each dps-boat is pretty awesome. One could say it makes them good the same way welpcanes with doubleneuts have been amazing. And Astartes don't even run dry.
