This should've been moved to "I-am-bored & trolling posting" instead. On a serious note, CCP already tried to "introduce" irrelevant stuff, thankfully they did it as a separate game. Which was cancelled. Seeing how they got back to paying proper attention to EVE after that, I'd say good riddance. |

you do know you don't cooperate with Lucas arts, you work in the laws they give you. They are a bit touchy about their IP when it comes to games.
And the whole asian thing...what angle are you looking at. There is a Japanese client. Its not lack of content hindering sales if an issue, they chose to use a flaming piece of crap 3rd party for financial cleaning. Nexus is utter crap and asians avoid using them for anything they are in like the plague if they have a choice. CCP would have been better off learning how to handle yen conversions internally and recoding the site to handle it.

Well, the object wouldn't be to give new content to existing players, it would be to bring in a new genre of player and "cross-sell" the products. CCPs previous dismal failure was because they didn't understand the market, the challenges, the integration to their existing player base, no long term vision, lack of content, and a general half-ass attempt (or whatever the politically correct way to say that is.)
I'm going to have to agree with the no vote, but not because it's a bad idea, but I just don't have faith that CCP could pull it off and in the process we'd all suffer from their diversion into it. |
