I'm wondering if I should train these skills at all. I am focused on industry, I don't see any use in my case.
Infomorph Psychology Allows 1 jump clone per level. Charisma/Willpower
Advanced Infomorph Psychology Allows 1 additional jump clone per level. Charisma/Willpower
Infomorph Synchronizing Reduced time between clone jumps by 1 hour per level. Charisma/Willpower
Do you use them ? If so, when and why ? I'm interested to hear about traders/industrialistss. |

I have a marketing/building/mining character that also has perfect scanning, fleet boosting and cyno skills. I use him to scan and cyno sometimes. In those cases, I use different clones that can A. Die and land back in a preferred station B. Scan and probe with implants that give probe bonus's C. Warfare links slot 10 D. +5 learning when he is just market hub trading
There are also science, processing, and industry implants... oddly, I have never used them.
Sometimes I send an alt to Jita with a freighter, then I clone jump the main there later and pick up the fully loaded ship and take off.
PvP character use different clones for different ships they fly.
ReavenPaine has a Tengu/missile clone Snaked clone Armor/gun clone +5 learning clone
Almost all null pilots will have 1 or 2 hi-sec clones to quickly travel to.

Just a curious question, what happen when you have % time implant on production, and jump off the clone ? Or even lose it for that matter. |

When you clone jump, or die, your new clone attributes are the new standard. I have never used production implants, but I'm sue they do the same.
A long time ago, whatever skill you were training, would keep training at the same rate, if you died. Back then, I would queue up a long skill before every fleet or PvP I started. That feature has been altered for several years now :( |

Nothing.
In industry, duration, material, cost are calculated and set at the time the job is started. If you start the job in a clone with a % time reduction, the calculated time is the time the job will run for. |

You might see an advantage of using different implant sets in different clones. I am using this for pvp and well I have to jumpclone to get where I want to be in time without using a ship. So different implant sets for different jobs might be a use for Infomorph Psychology but not further than III I guess. |

Multiple clones are handy if you like to fly ships with different sets of hardwires.

Don't sacrifice skills that are more important to you right now, but train some advanced infomorph psychology to III or IV for the future. You may find yourself in an organization with several important systems, and the need to maintain jump clones in more than a few places.
I'm not sure any career in EVE is directly related to jump skills, but whatever your career, you might need to do it in several places. For example, if you are a Planetary Interaction type, you can save yourself travel time by jump cloning around different regions, and "region" is the maximum range for industry and market.
I have Advanced Infomorph to III or IV across all my characters, and not just because they're combat. Jump cloning is a powerful ability and a perfect compliment to regional range in industry and market skills.
*correction: the maximum range for PI is 9 Light Years, not Region. Even more reason to jump clone around to manage your business, without the risk.
