This was made public when soem of the ISS shares came on sale. It would seem that IIS whilst being neutral do favor MC, can you blame them...no because MC offer them far more than they do just letting MC use their stations.
Wouldn't we control ISS, since we're BoB alts and ISS are BoB slaves? Aren't alts higher than slaves? _______________________________________________

so let me get this right... ISS are taking sides because they're allowing MC to use their stations? is that like when CONCORD allow them to fully utilize empire space in any way they want when they're targeting a corp/alliance with operations in hi-sec?
i guess that means CONCORD are taking sides too must be more BoB alts ----------- Turbulance |

Riiight.....
but letting mc use your stations against iac i would say that is helping mc quite a bit and therefore choosing sides.
they didnt change any docking rights so they didnt choose anything.
if they would remove mcs docking rights, THEN they would choose sides.
usually a nuetral entity would remove docking rights from both parties that way there wouldn't be a clear advantage. By letting mc dock there it definately ****ed over iac.
MC + FIX V IAC is not an ISS Problem, we +5 alot of people and +10 a few others, if sumone goes to war with ISS, IAC dont remove there docking rights if there +5
I think u dont understand politics

definetly a clash of interests.
But to be fair, acting much as an npc station is probably the best way to go about it.
take no sides (neutrality) is ISS's stance and they do it.
they could either deny both or allow both. and since deny both IAC and MC docking would make for some unhappy people i think this decision was probably a decent idea. ------------------------ Listed as Such, I claim nothing but existense. know me true -Vily |

How is it a clash of interests, and why do you contradict yourself in your own post?

I see ISS as Eve's version of the Spacing Guild. As long as you behave and don't **** them off, you can do whatever you want with/around them, including attacking war targets outside their stations (ships).

Mercenaries are not nuetral, they always take the side of the money, therefore making them quite hostile in their opponents eyes

isnt it pretty obvious that iss only real combat strategy is to nap everyone involved? its funny in pure blind rather than try to keep their systems safe they let the enemies to d2/iron(RISK) make a damn pos in their system.

Isnt that kind of the whole POINT of being neutral? That you don't take sides.
The only people who can't dock in ISS stations are those who shoot at them. Fact.

Not if they are midget alts. ISS... big sheaml.. ahm, deal. Think they are acting neutral as tey are letting everybody in and out. Would be same if they wouldn't let anybody in and out, except that would not be a public service thingy.

On topic: If all involved are allowed to dock, thats pretty neutral to me.
EDIT: Don't people consider NPC stations as neutral, since all races and corps/alliances are allowed to dock? I think I rest my case here.

Murukan do you not understand the stance of ISS or do you just hate MC so you are trying to flame us??? Why would the fact that a corp or an alliance is at war effect any sort of docking rights. Like butter dog said the only reason you don't have docking rights at an ISS station would be if you shoot at ISS. Yall got to stop thinking that Neutral means Isolated. Just because we are neutral doesn't mean we would remove rights from someone cause they are fighting a war. See you at KRIN. |
