Hello my friends,
(This is a continuation of this thread - read it and weep!)
So I've been biding my time, and waiting for the fool to let his guard down and go about his carebear ways - also tracking him to see where he goes and maybe if he's got a POS somewhere (unconclusive at present, I'm not a very good tracker  )
I put in the dec yesterday, and naturally I get a couple of lovely (and somewhat cryptic) messages from this genius:

Bear in mind that unfortunately he's blocked all convo requests and mails from unknown characters, so responding in kind is not an option (except in local)
They also send a fantastically weird surrender offer - check it out (I don't know if they are implementing psychological warfare against me or are just stupid - I think the latter)
What would you do, friends? 1) Pursue the war or 2) accept the surrender (I'm leaning towards 1 at the moment)

Sounds perfectly acceptable to burn campain him. Not showboating, just saying make the WR look like you took everything he had and burnt it down.

Although, last time he stayed in NPC safety for about a month or two after the initial dec...but hopefully he has an appetite for actually fighting this time

This seems bugged tbh. Not saying that I generally wouldn't put it past the guy... but he was getting shot by some NPC, when the Merlin showed up suggesting he was in a mission in a completely unfit ship.

According to zkill he took 49k total damage.
According to both osmium and neocom, an empty RNI with an EM rig has ~47k EHP if shot with pure kinetic (scourge torpedo) and has a passive peak shield regen of ~20ehp/s. If this lasted just 100 seconds, we would come to a total of 49k ehp lost over the course of the engagement.
As far as I can tell, yes, he was in a mission (or belt) in a completely unfit ship. |

Damage is not ehp. Damage is literally the amount of raw damage received after resists. If ship had 50% base structure, no shield or armor and 10000 HP you would need to deal 20k damage (ignoring other factors) to cause 10k damage

Update on the OP: after their rage against CCP about skill injector prices, the WTs have apparently held true to their word and left the game - I haven't seen them come on since. I guess that's a victory of sorts, right?
