I tend to do a different activity every month.
For the last few weeks, it's been FW and plexing. Before that, it was hacking / exploration. Before that, it was low sec ratting and PI.
I'm now doing WH diving. I recently found a vacant C1-C3 WH and am just messing about and seeing how much ISK I can extract before I get bored. |

Here's the real story about the Damsel. A really funny story, highly recommended.

the good thing about trying to be a true pirate (and gatecamper) is that you actualy make money from it. you know, the pirates that actualy don't want to die gloriously but the ones that want all the loots, yaaarrrrrrrrr
won't get filthy rich from it but it more than pays the bills and for autists like me it's exciting. |

For the last year and a half or so, mostly gas/exploration/combat sites in WHs. I've done a few missions when I want a more relaxing day, but HS is fairly boring to me, so I try to stay out of it. Any mods dropped from PvP generally goes to the good of the group, not to individual wallets. |

Toobo wrote:Biggest ISK in game is probably trading & manufacturing. It all depends on play style. If you like actively flying space ships to make ISK, then exploration and WH and such are pretty good and fun options. If you really enjoy exploration it can be fun living in a WH with null/LS connections, as you always get new places to explore.
But as I mentioned with trading/manufacturing, there is tons of ISK to be made while never undocking, which can be pretty fun too if you like strategy/management type of game play.
... what? trading and manufacturing isn't huge isk. Except for the select small group of incredibly dedicated traders, nullsec carrier ratting will yield more isk for you, especially considering the more time you spend doing it, the more you'll make, something that does not scale quite as well with station trading and manufacturing. The more you produce, the more you try to flip, the longer it takes orders and volume to move. As for Wormholes, the isk hasn't been 'pretty good' since the Citadel expansion. It's okay, but there's a good reason lots of the already small w-space population have left.
I'd definitely reccomend WH and lowsec exploration for fun, for trying new things and doing something that isn't quite as repetitive, but properly skilled for it, nullsec carrier ratting is easier, less risky, and more reliable than practically anything else. Also pretty damn boring though, so I don't do it. |

Once you get above 10 billion ISK, trade beats most things. You can make 10-20% every month. It also scales well, so you can make more money the more you put in. The only risk is a fat fingered sale where you buy/sell for a stupid price in error. If you are lazy you can just accept a lower payout from your trades of 2 or 3 percent. If you have 200 billion ISK, that is a payout of 4-6 billion a month. |

Most recently I run Angel missions for a few weeks. By the time I got to the point where I couldn't bear to think of doing another damb mission, I'd enough ISk to basically not worry about making ISk for a year.
Oh and about 6.5M Angel LP. Woopty doody.

There should be a list of worthwile pve activities. I haven't earned even 1 ISK in about a year, and my reserves are starting to run low.
As my main chars are in a w-space system where pve is not really a good option (mostly high-class space too hard for solo pve except in super-blingy ships, but chains changing very often due to pvp and hole rolling), I'd like to find an activity for my alts that I can always do when I have the time. So not like wormhole sites where you don't always have sites or you have hostile activity.
But I also wouldn't work for less than 100m/hour as a bare minimum. When I lived in c4 space I made 500m/hour so 100m would already feel pretty terrible. Any activities that fit the bill?

You can earn $20 in an hour IRL, so buying a plex with real money and selling it nets you 1.1 billion ISK/hour. Hard to find anything in game that competes with that |

Anyone who spends time in game earning ISK where they don't enjoy the game is working a job for plex. |

Hard to find anything in game that competes with that Yes, but usually people have a fixed income / number of work hours and cannot just say "I'll work an hour more now and you give me 20 dollar cash". Unless you are on something like McDonalds where you're paid hourly, but then you don't make $20/h.
So assuming that you need your regular salary for more important things than buying in-game currency, it is easier for most people to "waste" some free time to earn ISK than it is to upscale their RL salary.

Planetary Interaction baby!
When you've got those suckers purring, they're just churning out the isk, 24/7. Sure, you've gotta dedicate some time every few days to restart those reactors and shift some stuff into orbit. But once it's done, it all starts up again, chomping away at those tasty planets.
Before long you've got all that snatch flowing into dedicated planetary factories. They too, start churning away, grinding out even more of that sweet, tasty isk. Just gotta be willing to haul it around once all the smaller stuff starts piling up. And how far up the chain you wanna make is entirely up to you!
And once you start hitting the isk, Plex another account and get that sucker working too!
The rest of your time is free for anything!
