You fail at reading comprehension. Motives:
1) Fun
2) Isk (more wrecks)
As for losing your ship, that's where skill and good wingmen come in.
I think you fail in general.
The so-called true pirate puts isk/loot at the top of any list. Fun is a welcome by-product. Which is why so many "pirates" are more, weekend-warrior types. They come in and blow stuff up, which is great, but their immediate goal is to have fun, rather than make lots of isk/loot. These weekend warriors will take unnecessary risks in order to fight, for the sake of fighting, rather than potential profit.
I'm getting tired of saying the same thing over and over, so i'll just give it up. If you get it, great, if you don't ..ho noez. I fail.

The only thing that should concern you is making sure your clone is up to date. Or just hide in high sec space viciously raping those asteriod belts like you so love to do. Poor Veldspar!!! I wuv you long time. Oh btw Klepto mining op this weekend in DAL, everyone welcome to join!

Now if you are saying tiller that this behaviour from your corp is to lead to you being the best pirate corp in eve then you are mistaken.
You may have the respect of INFOD and a few other pirates that are brown nosing you but to truly be great you have to gain the respect of the rest of us.
And by the way, IMO INFOD out pirate you anyday.
You think I care if we flew the opposite direction of your blob ?

Originally by: Nebulous I had not heard of klepto untill recently, unfortunately my first experience with them cost me a hyperion and some time after that a dominix, had another fight with them a few days ago and managed to bring down a drake and hurricane of theirs, during all engagements with them I never recieved any ill mannered chatter in local from them, they always say good fight during or after a fight, and when sentry's deprived me of one of the kill mails, the pilot involved showed good sportsmanship and provided me with the killmail when I asked for it.
I always have respect for pirates that dont smack talk and show respect for their victims/enemies, therfore I would recomend kleptomaniacs to any wannabe or current pirates.
Seeing as infod have been mentioned here I will also mention them, they are an organisation well trained in the art of pvp and I cant take that away from them, unfortunately some of their members are very ill mannered and disrespectful and have said things to me and other old friends in local channels that are nothing short of disgraceful, on that note I'd recomend klepto over infod anyday and wish them luck in their attempt to build a mega sized pirate corp.
I think smacking in local for fun is ok as long as it doesn't cross a line.
As for INFOD, I like them. I used to be a member. But when I say that I like them, I'm speaking about my old friends, guys I have flown with and respect. Grant Smith, DaMiGe, Tassi, Dr Kojak to name a few. It was Grant and DaMiGe that gave me my first opportunity into Piracy.
I still consider them a Pirate Corp, but I'm not sure if they are a pure Pirate Corp. I do know before their recent 'purging' of inactives, they had quite a few positive sec stat members (mains not alts) amongst their ranks.
In KLPTO, we have a timetable for mains to reach -10 to show their loyalty and committment to the Outlaw life. I think thats the only difference between INFOD and KLPTO from a general standpoint.
KLPTO have quite a few former INFOD members and I'm sure still remain friends with their old Corp m8s. It is my hope that we continue this good relationship, and to avoid flaming/smacking each other's Corps on the Forums.
If it happens in good fun in space, after an engagement, this is fine. But lets not bring it here guys.
I do not believe you or anyone else in your corp can justify who is ôpureö and ônot pureö pirates. No offense to your new foundations but it's not like a large portion of your members wont be or have been caught killing NPC's and mission running for income. (I'm using your logic here not mine)
Just to add to another comment mentioned in a previous post. Industrial activities does not define having a ôpoorö pirate outfit. Matter of fact, it's shameful that most pirate organizations don't have more industrial sections mining and making ships for those pirates to lose. However, that's more on poor leadership than intelligence.
Good luck on whatever you do...

What I don't understand is: since you guys are a large group of players, why not claiming and securing one or two of the best low-sec constellations, with best agents, ice, ore and rats in? You have the numbers but instead you just sit drunken at the gates. It's frustrating and more like a mono-culutre of EVE.
oh yes running missions and mining is unfathomably more intresting than camping a gate isn't it...
Mono-cultures tend to fail over time. I think a good mix is best.
"Mono-cultures" tend to fail over time.

I didn't care much to read this entire thread except the first few posts, and most likely will not return for the responses, but you mentioned that pirate alliances don't work. Unless I'm mistaken, the largest alliance in the Verse happens to be one of, if not the most well known pirate alliance in all of Eve. Goon. 3000+ members, roughly 1000 above the #2 alliance in size. My challange to you, top that *****. ---

I've never seen a Goon outlaw, in fact, from experience your stereotype goon flys a seemingly random ship with worthless fittings and a pilot without a clue what he's doing (except dieing)

No alliance ever really works. Well with the exceptions to BoB and other well lead factions.
TPS was before Tiller and yourself. They did and established a lot together. More than what other styles have done before any alliance system was in place. As most alliances they of course broke apart but that does not mean it didn't "work together".

I've flown with several Goons and i can say yes they do have there new players as does most corps, however they do have some very experienced pilots who could easily gank the pants of anyone that comes out with comments like that.
Respect for reaching your size but unlike in real life, size in Eve doesn't matter

That's not the best idea, mate, but I hope it works out for you.
