Edited by: Xedrik on 03/07/2007 17:02:39 Hello!
I've decided to try out the investment business, so I'm looking for short-term deals with 7.5% or more in return (monthly), depending on the risk involved. I'm going to start small, so only 500m is to be invested to begin with. If everything goes well and smooth there is a high probability that I will do future investment with larger sums.
Contact me in-game, eve-mail or post a reply in this thread if you have anything that might be of interest. I will need some kind of proof of your legitimacy before signing any investment deals.

You may want to consider a safe option for your first time investing and something with a decent rate of return. I'd like to offer that with my newest IPO, which gives a 7% monthly dividend: http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=547851
I would be pleased if you could invest.

I'll give Nyphur a recommendation based on the last couple of months' performance. He picked a high target with his previous IPO and has continued to deliver.

Thanks for the confidence, but at current aftermarket (EGSE and RESX) prices, typical monthly returns are between 4 and 7 percent, IIRC. The only advantage of ZERO. compared to Nyphur's issue, for one example, is that there's an upside if the business does very well, whereas Nyphur's is merely a bond and will always pay out the same amount.
But, yes, by all means, if you have a time machine, go buy some ZERO. at IPO. 70%+ RoI is FTW.

Only invest if you are prepared to possibly lose the 500m to a scam. Not saying any of those posting here are but most in the past have been or turned out to be.

also, zerodot's share value both NAV and on the market increases. So you can also sell later on for an additional profit.

You're thinking of my fist IPO. My second isn't a bond emission, it's a standard share like your own where payout is based on business performance

You're thinking of my first IPO. My second isn't a bond emission, it's a standard share like your own where payout is based on business performance. The 7% number is a minimum guarantee.
Ah, my apologies, then.

There's a stickey at the top listing all kinds of projects (ipo/bonds/etc) that have occurred. I don't know if it will be updated before long but reading through many of them will give you a sense of what is what in this marketplace.
Far better for you to waste some time understanding the basics than it is for you to waste your isk learning those basics the hard way.
The Eve-Online forums may not have invented whining, but they sure have perfected it.

Edited by: Ulrich Sternaxe on 05/07/2007 14:49:19 I have an IPO as well, but it's quite unique in the fact that you can withdraw your investment including dividends/interest as soon as 1 month after your deposit (so much less risk of scamming after that first month, you can ask for your money back anytime you like then, and you'll even be paid interest/dividends up to the exact day you withdraw your investment). Naturally, you can leave your investment where it is as well.
