will rigs be affected by stacknerf? i am looking for dmg/rof rigs in combination with heatsinks/gyros/magstabs. question is will the effect of a rof/dmg rig get stacknerfed when you got a hs/gyro/magstab fitted?

If the mod is stacking nerfed so is the rig. There are of course several mods (cap rechargers for example) that are not stacking nerfed, in that case neither is the rig. ---------------------------------------- A Guide to Scan Probing in Revelations |

Non-stacking nerfed effect rigs due to attribute modifier not having stacking-nerf flag:
(?most?/)all energy grid ones (cap amount, cap recharge, powergrid amount, etc)
shield recharge shield amount shield boster cycle time
armor amount armor repairer cycle time
most/all cap consumption rigs (not 100% sure on this, some might still get a stacknerf)
falloff range (best for ACs) however, optimal range ones do get a stacknerf, so maybe the falloff lack of stacknerf is a bug
drone optimal range rig (unverified, but people claim omnidirectional tracking link bonus is not stacknerfed, so this should too be exempt then) most drone rigs in general appear to not get any stacknerfs, but as said, it's unverified
missile velocity (bugged: not affecting HAMs, maybe it's fixed) missile flight time (no point to use over velocity ones unless those would be stack-nerfed, which they're not, so it's an useless rig) missile explosion radius (rockets, HAMs and torps not affected, that one is intentional)
...might have missed some tho'

Edited by: Christopher Dalran on 17/07/2007 21:42:56 If the attribute is stack nerfed when using a module it is stack nerfed when using a rig, the reverse is also true. Atleast this is what is sopposed to happen, no guarante that is what is actually taking place as there is no way to view many of the values such a drone tracking.
However since Omnidirectional tracking links do not specificaly state fitting more than one module will reduce its effectiveness i'm assuming it does not but then again we all know just how accurate the descriptions are. ------------------------------- C.D's Formula for success ------------------------------- Credit Card = Game Time Card Gametime Card = ISK Therefore Credit Card = ISK.

Tracking is also stacking nerfed. But tracking and optimal attributes are modified by modules, for all guns not just projectiles. Nothing but skills and implants - and now rigs - modify falloff range. So I don't think the falloff attribute has the "stacking nerf" flag set on it. It's not like the other gun attributes. Besides, with no modules to affect it, it is in practice nerfed by having only two or three rig slots on your ship, and only one implant slot.
