Who holds sov right now, at what level, and what are the relative force strengths right after DT/at Euro PT/at US PT/just before DT?

We have the majority but it hasn't switched as far as I know. Tenerifs and Omist we have been pretty much unchallenged around the clock.

Yesterday, sov was BoB. I can't answer precisely the other questions, but when the UNL poses were getting out of reinforced yesterday, there were 6 bob and 6 neutrals in local.

Situation as far as I know:
BoB holds Sov. UNL (Coalition) has more than 50% of moons covered with large POS, unless BoB kill some UNL POS quickly, it will switch to UNL Sov before the end of the weekend as far as I can tell. Current Sov level is 1 for BoB, so no cynogens or cynojammers.

Yep, pretty much. They might have gotten one or two by now, but they've failed about 99 of 100 times.

But don't forget, their K/D ratio still rocks!
And of course, the fact that you see more and more Goons flying T2 ships is a sure sign they are losing... ------------------------------------------------ Murphy's Golden Rule: Whoever has the gold, makes the rules.

BoB don't POS spam, it's funless, and they don't need it to win wars. Imagine if they did !

I agree, RL analogies are a lot like unsalted butter. Great for enriching a delicate sauce but one day you will slip on that butter and you will ***** your head open. BoB is a more like the evil woman in The Goonies while the goons are like The Goonies and in the end everything works out fine.
edit fictional analogies is what I'm getting at here people

Right so why exactly cant bob destroy all your POS's since Rev II?
Undercommitment? Smaller support fleet? Smaller dread fleet? No supercapitals? Lag? Timezone issues?
I hear all the time "bob hasnt destroyed a pos since rev II" but nobody has really explained why that is?

The main contribution in my eyes seems to be an overall lack of willpower, determination, commitment and the bravery to take risks against the odds.

It's because it's summer time and the weather has been so nice in England that they're all at the beach.

Mostly it's because they only have a small period in which they can deploy their dread fleet without it being hotdropped upon and destroyed. It also helps that they can't doomsday with impunity anymore, allowing our support fleet to actually contribute if there ever was a hotdrop.

but, BOB has a close and very healthy "relationship" with their allies and their allies have very close relationships with each other and is the reason they aren't simply pets like the coalition. Can't you ask on of your GBC friends? Certainly moving north didn't mean cutting of all ties?

Do you think 100% certainty of desync if local goes above 250 (with a good % chance below that) since rev 2 has anything to do with it? I'm not in bob and don't know what they're doing, but I can imagine they're thinking "we can wait out a few defeats until CCP fixes this patch's GLARING flaws"
I know I'd consider it, knowing that fighting goons means local > 250 in every single engagement

Desynch can now happen with just 100 in local.

Leave RL analogies out of this.
What other kinds of analogies are there? The whole point of an analogy is to relate an unknown to a known, thereby simplifying the concept so it is easier to understand. It is a common tool of teachers and students alike, either to teach or to be taught. Heck, I'm using a borderline RL analogy right now by associating the poster with a teacher. ---

Now BOB cannot use its super capitals as effectivly or without risk so the unimaginative blob mentality is now more effective?. Only to ppl with no imagination.
Ive seen many posts about how BOB only won pre-patch due to their super capitals and all it does is reinforce the fact that the people who make such claims have no clue at all.
