In a fit of sheer boredom I wrote up a Visual Basic program to fit and calculate fuel requirements for POSes. As of this post its on v0.86 and allows you to fit any tower (up to Rev patch 2.2) and calculate fuel timeframes along with figure out how much fuel you have left (will read a eve pos low fuel evemail). Tower fittings can be saved and loaded so you can configure a tower and then load it at any time. Currently it supports one tower but I hope to expand that to multiple towers in the future. The program is available on our corps website:
http://www.cassandraslight.com/mypos.htm
Only requirements are the Microsoft Dot Net v2.0 Framework (available from Microsofts site) and the Windows Installer 3.1 or higher. If you have XP/Vista and do your windows updates you should already have both. This is a work in progress and although it seems pretty stable (some alliance members have been playing with it) there may still be minor bugs so if you have any questions or comments or problems they can be posted here or evemail to me in game.

Nice one but you are missing the advanced labs , and some things like the number of diffrent slots : Copy , ME & PE , resistances and dps woud be nice .

I'll get the advanced labs in with the next revision. As far as info theres no real need for it within a fitter...I could add it but thats a lot of extra bloat to a very small program.

I agree actually.....could REALLY use a VB.Net 05 guy that does custom controls for a custom tabpage control. Then you could do multiple towers and save and load them. I even got all the underlying structure in place for it just no time/patience to do the custom control work.

Best POS fitter to date and I'm not sure why it isn't getting more attention since it's really nice.

I wanted simple, very simple so thats why I wrote this.
Only bug reported is the fuel "supply" section, when you chek off the Sov checkbox it ADD's 25% to fuel instead of subtract but does work as intended on the fuel requirements. Oh, and I need to fix a bug in the POS low fuel evemail reading I noticed...that and add in the advanced lab. All are easy fixes and will be done this week, look for a update soon.

Two things that would be nice though, a read-out that states how much M3 the fuel will take and a way to input price so it's easy to see the costs. Both things should be simple to implement.

The one thing that is really missing is all the factional batteries. I would really like to use this as a POS planner and that information would be needed.
Very nice work! (If I send some isk will you work on that?)

Doable but definitely not a priority. I'll look into it though.

Absolutely. I'm kinda whorish when it comes to programming. LOL :)
All known bugs fixed, the 25% sov "days remaining" is now rounded properly, the advanced labs are added in, and the POS low fuel reading now has error checking if the evemail is malformed or blank. Its listed as V0.88 and is available using the same link as in the first post. I suggest doing a Add/Remove programs and uninstalling the old version before installing the new. Any other comments/questions/bug reports/suggestions are welcome.

Edited by: Director Sann on 09/09/2007 08:02:15 This is certainly the best POS fitter that I have seen. Simple to use and thats how I like things, would be nice to see a pos fuel manager implemented aswell to monitor multiple POS 's although I understand that it wouldn't be simple to do. Oh Im on the first page on an epic thread
This is a must for anyone with a POS.

A simplistic price calculation has been added in. Storage calcs may be in the future but we'll see.

Recieved......Thanks!!! Help offset my T2 fitted Nighthawk, a Drake, and two Hawk's I lost this week. Man it was a bad PvP week...at least I got a couple kills in. Anyway all faction batteries have been added in and will be available with the next release.

Multiple POS's have always been my goal and its almost done:
http://www.cassandraslight.com/MyPOS/MyPOSScreenv0-96.jpg
You will have tabs for each POS and the Save button drops down to a "Save All Towers" option so you can save all the towers to one file. Got a little debugging to do but it should be released in a few days.

First, What a great Program. Second, This program could be the dogs *******s
Is there a Beta Test program? Is there a Road map of features to be implemented.
Also some input. Some ppl like me have a computer on 24/7, but not in game 23/7. Possible you could add a low fuel RL mail warning û it will probably be along time to add in, as youÆll have to enter loads of different fuel levels for each tower,

Version 1.00 is done! HURRAY!
http://www.cassandraslight.com/mypos.htm
All faction structures should now be included along with multiple tower configs. Save, load, delete towers individually or as a group. Get approx isk prices for the fuel required. Super funness!
Thanks for all the compliments. There really isn't a beta program, the changes are so small and I test it pretty well on my own. No roadmap either....my end goal was a multiple tower POS fitter with fuel calculations and with this release I did that. I may add stuff in the future or clean it up a little but this is what I set out to accomplish. If I get a huge number of people wanting certain features I may add it but we'll see.

Really liking this so far. Only one thing I can think of that I might like to see added that may/may not be useful to anyone, and that would be: give me the ability to load/save module lists, where I can just load up that group of modules on any tower and see what the differences are really quick, etc.

Understandable but I program for good and not evil. :) Either way here is the full source code, Visual Basic 2005 / Dot Net v2.0 Framework with a slight stipulation on its use to protect myself:
I am hereby releasing this source code under the GPL and have included the GPL document as part of the zip file. This software is free and any future revision from this point on must also be made without charge within the restrictions of the GPL. If you do not agree and accept the terms of the GPL you are not allowed to modify or distribute this program, in part or whole.
www.cassandraslight.com/MyPOS/MyPOSCodeVersion1-00.zip
Since I am releasing the source code from this point on ANYONE downloading this software needs to make sure they ONLY download it from my corps website as someone with some programming skills could download the code, modify it and add in a key logger, and reupload it to a site and say its the same thing. Please make sure if you use this program you only download it from the Cassnadra's Light Website and no other source.
-Jonas
P.s. All Programmers: Feel free to criticize / praise my 1337 programming skilz. If you make a positive modification please consider sending it to me for inclusion into future revisions. Evemail me in game preferably to keep code related things out of this forum.

Why not to include a Magnet link to download the file? This would let people download the file using a P2P program (Shareaza, eMule or other) and be sure it is unmodified. You can add your server like a source inside the same Magnet link.

I have no idea what you just said so I'll respond with if you want it get it from our website and if you want to check the code and compile it yourself do that.

Not sure why it is I am just now noticing it, but the calcs this is giving me for LO & HW are off by quite a bit. :( Everything else seems to be dead-on, though.
Another bug (or 2) I've seen is when you paste in an evemail in for comparison, first off it wants a carriage return following the last line (so you can't just copy/paste, you copy/paste/return) of text. After that, if you click compare evemail again and paste the same mail, your numbers will kind of go down.. this can be repeated many times, so I really have no idea if this is intended or not.

LO and HW arn't off for me. They should be based on actual PG and CPU usage, the formula was (usage / total available) * fuel per hour. So say a large Amarr tower with nothing fit should be 0 LO, 0 HW, fully fit 150 LO and 150 HW, and in between....well its in between. Fit a large tower with 24 corp hangers and you should have 98 LO (CPU of 3600 / 5500 * 150 per hour at max = 98.18).
As for the compare evemail I should probably lock out the button after you do it once and unlock it (enable it) once you do a calculate again so you can't just keep comparing and have it subtract your supply from the required amount shown as your doing. Although the idea originally was you could paste the low fuel evemail, hit compare, then do it again except put in the numbers for the fuel you have in storage or at a station or whatever and compare a second time so you know what you really need. But I would have to make that much clearer and/or change the "read low evemail" into a "enter supplies" button and you could have the choice of entering the stuff in or reading the evemail.

1HR HW spreadsheet: 67 1HR HW MyPOS: 66
1HR LO spreadsheet: 21 1HR LO MyPOS: 21

1WEEK HW spreadsheet: 11256 1WEEK HW MyPOS: 11130
1WEEK LO spreadsheet: 3528 1WEEK LO MyPOS: 3456
etc,etc..
All other material #'s are correct. The #'s from spreadsheet are correct/what I have been using previously.
Please take a look into this?

Your welcome.

Here what I think is the "problem"....your spreadsheet is rounding up the fuel required and then multiplying the result by home many hours it should be doing it and this program is keeping the decimal places. As we know EVE uses decimal places. Heres the math for your scenario for the LO calculation:
LO = (usage / available) * 75 LO = 2650 / 3000 * 75 LO = 66.25
The issue is the spreadsheet is rounding all values up (to 67) while I keep the decimal until all the calculations are done (66.25). Everything I've seen in EVE shows that although decimals are rarely shown they are always used. So when you calculate for a week:
LO for a week with spreadsheet: 67 * 168 = 11256 LO for a week with My POS: 66.25 * 168 = 11130
I'm keeping my programing the way it is for now unless a DEV can post the fuel usage on the backside and confirm or deny that it uses decimals. If it does round up each hour then its a relatively easy change.
Or someone can fuel a POS purely based on the numbers in My POS and see if it lasts the exact 1 week or if as the week goes on the numbers start going out of sync, if so it does need to be rounded.

Thing is, when I remove even 1 unit of LO or HW, the on-line time on that fuel in the POS changes by 1hr. Your numbers/calcs are off, because the time estimates I get via MyPOS do not reflect *at all* the on-line time the POS itself tells me that fuel will keep up (ie, if I put the fuel #'s MyPOS tells me into the POS, the actual on-line time for that amount of fuel is lower than MyPOS has estimated).. and at this point, the spreadsheet numbers are dead-on correct, and MyPOS is not. Sorry.

I'll test it and if EVE does not use the decimals, or more correctly does round them up I will change the code to do the same. It only is affecting LO and HW as thats the only place where you would get fractions (as its a percent based on usage) and rounding those values up to the next whole number should be relatively easy to do.

Edited by: Jonas Vinthyn on 19/09/2007 14:51:33 Yup...eve rounds UP to the next whole number so I've recoded to do the same for LO and HW. The odd thing is there are a couple spreadsheets and even QuickFit that keeps the decimal like I was so all those are wrong too. Oh well....while I was fixing that I decided to do a couple other things that were on my mind:
- Charters are now included in calcs - All the fuel tabs are laid out similar now - Can now save a towers fitting to a file and then load it to another tower. - grey out the "compare Evemail" button after a compare and reenable after a calculation to prevent hitting it over and over - Fixed the error when you do a compare evemail and close the screen or leave it blank, now jsut exits without saying it couldn't read the evemail.
File is uploaded to our website as is the source code:

Only time I've seen this is with a corrupt program or Dot Net installation. First thing to try is just go to http://WindowsUpdates.Microsoft.com/ to make sure you have all the updates for .Net. If that doesn't work uninstall My POS using the standard Add/Remove Programs in the control panel (make sure if there is more then one copy you remove them all). Delete the directory you installed to which by default is c:\program files\My POS and download a fresh copy from the website and try again. If that doesn't work it's most likely something within your Dot Net installation, uninstall "Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0" from your Add/Remove programs and reinstall it from Microsoft's site then redo your Microsoft updates.
Or just click the continue button if that works.

I use your program for all my POS fitting and fuel needs. It is excellent.
One feature I would really like to see added would be if it would show how much fuel you can actually store in a POS.
Example would be, if I calculate out how much fuel it take to run a medium minmatar tower for 28 days, everything is spot on, but I can't actually hold 28 days worth of fuel in said tower. Would be nice to know the maximum days you can fuel a tower for using its maximum fuel holding capacity.

Yeah I have a idea of how to do this, just putting it into code form and having time to do so right now is a problem. With that said maybe in the near future I'll add that in and there will be a calculate max storage option to tell you how much you need to fill the tower. Maybe.

Someone evemailed me a slight bug....white noise generation batteries are not listed. This has been fixed and version 1.0.11 is now available on the website. If you don't need fix then don't bother downloading it, that was the only thing changed. A work around is using a guristas white noise generator in its place for fitting if you don't want to install the never version.

I'll be making a couple changes over the holiday weekend mainly because I've been using it and I want a couple extras:
- Ability to Online / Offline a module but keep it in the fitment (something I really wanted) - Column sorting on the fitment view to sort by name, PG, cpu, or online/offline status - Actual days left listing for fuel supply (weeks, days, and hours for each instead of just the two lowest)
Look for something next week.

Yes, its going to get a little bigger...I'll make a bold assumption that 99% of the people out there are running at least 800x600 and will resize accordingly.

Possibly. The only reason I don't want to do this is I have to add the storage value for each tower and for each min and do a whole bunch more calculations to a program that finally calculates everything correctly. :) I'll consider it though.
Also gonna add a option to ignore charters on calculations...little checkbox so it wont take that into account if you don want it to for fuel supply calcs.

Version 1.2 is now ready for download. Ass before its recommended, although not required, that you uninstall the old version before downloading and installing the new one. All changes above along with the ability to right click a structure and add multiples of it at once (1 - 8...right click and see) have been added. Screen size has also been increased a little. I have not added in cargo space requirements yet, possibly in a later version.

Possible? Of course. Planned? Not really. Theres a reason the entire install is only 361k....bare minimum tower/fitting information included. I'll put this on the back burner however because its something that would be helpful to have.

Jonas Vinthyn, thank you for the greate tool. Could you please to change control tower label on all pages to drop down list. This will enable us to find the best tower for the task. We be able to answer on questions like which one can fit our structures. I changed this for myself using the sources you have provided but i don't like the situation when one program has a lot of different versions. It would be greate if you just make these changes in the main product. ;) Another point is to put some eve-api support to you great application. This will give us a tool to control fuel in the real towers. There are a lot of things we need to talk about but this program can become something like a EVEMon for the POS owners. And I am definitely will put this program to startup folder on my computer. ;)
PS: Please change "Medium Reactor Array" and "Reactor Array" to the "Simple Reactor Array" and "Advanced Reactor Array" respectively.

Edited by: Jonas Vinthyn on 21/03/2008 14:34:07 To the couple people that have evemailed me additions to the code:
I copied all your evemails out of game so I could refrence them later. Unfortunately now that I've gone through them I've found that all of the links to your source codes that you wanted added in are all dead. Evemail me in game with a new location or email me at Jonas(at)CassandrasLight.com the changes. I'm currently reworking the interface and skining it to make it all pretty so I figure I could put these additions in at the same time.
Originally by: zzCoins Any chance of making it bigger, it is designed for a small/low resolution screen at the moment.
yeah, the issue is when it gets bigger the formatting goes away. I'm going to try a 3rd party developer tool set to fix this issue easily and hopefully will have something with the next revision.

Already coded into the next revision, each tab page will have its own combo box so you can do exactly this.

I've debated doing this and I may take a stab at it before the next release. I'll see how time consuming it is.

I've always gone directly off the data dumps and this is how they have them named in those dumps. I will change it however since a bunch of people have asked.
I will also look at the "How much can the POS store" idea, possibly adding another status bar for space inside the tower. There will most likely NOT be a "figure it out based on size" but you can at least get a idea of what will fit. Maybe down the line.

The only reason I could think of that is if you tried to download the program and do a "Run" instead of "Save" off the internet.
Here is the direct link. Try Right click -> Save Link As:

then download it to your desktop and run it from there.

Ok so the EVE API for POS's is broke. I'v added in the code to download the list of corp owned POS's using the API and tag each with its "Tower ID". Then using the tower ID you can go to the Fuel Supply page and click a "Download" button and it will download the fuel left in the POS for you but since its broke (on CCP's side) I can't really test it. Hopefully it will be back in a couple days before the new version is released.
Also will have a "Fill" option thats almost done that will give you how much fuel will fit inside your tower based on your fitting with equal runtimes for each fuel type. Everything should be done in a week or so.
-Jonas
P.S. And it looks awesome.....you can now run it maximized too. :) My POS - POS Fitting and Fuel Calc

How about something like this:
Export As... |-- Text |-- Displayed Tower |-- All Towers |-- BBCode |-- Displayed Tower |-- All Towers
Think you had a link in your evemail but it was dead when I tried to look at it. But the above should be easy enough to do...just have to find room for the menus.

I reversed Heavy Water and Liquid Ozone but otherwise the order is correct per a show info on a tower. On another note the API is working for downloading basic tower info and fuel and the export option is being worked on. Should be done shortly.

Why order them by how they're listed on the tower? What matters is how they're sorted in your cargohold. That's what one looks at when fueling a tower.

Depends on how your cargohold is sorted Kwint, hence why I went with order on the info screen. :)
Progress is going much better then I thought, corp mates are currently testing it out for bugs and spelling mistakes (I'm horrible when it comes to that).

Originally by: Jonas Vinthyn Ok so the EVE API for POS's is broke. I'v added in the code to download the list of corp owned POS's using the API and tag each with its "Tower ID". Then using the tower ID you can go to the Fuel Supply page and click a "Download" button and it will download the fuel left in the POS for you but since its broke (on CCP's side) I can't really test it.
I'm trying to track down what is broken.
What API function / XML page are you using that is not working now, or is delivering different data than before, or is delivering data in a different format?
The more details the better. Sending us a bug report with as much details as possible (referencing this thread) would be fantastic. If you do, please reply here with the bug report ID.

Explorer,
Read down a couple posts and I mentioned it's back to working. There was a period of about a week (might have been more but its what I noticed) where there was no tower data being retrieved even though I was testing from two different corps both with towers anchored and online. When I would make the call for tower data I was getting back 0 towers. Now I'm getting the correct number back. The only issue I'm still having is with the OnStandingsDropEnabled, which I don't use so I commented that part out of the api parser I'm using (libeveapi - looks for a node called //combatSettings/onStandingDrop and errors out there...may be a issue with the api or with the parser...not sure).

Yes, the issue was that OnStandingsDrop was removed from the server and DB in Trinity 1.1 but that change was not communicated properly to the API developers. API parser should not expect that node anymore.
http://api.eve-online.com/corp/StarbaseList.xml.aspx was fixed in DT on 2008-03-26, before it was returning a 500 error.

Thanks for the reply. I'll remove it completely from my copy of the libeveapi source and also notify the authors. Thanks also for confirming the outage. :)

I'd love if you had time to do a request that someone else made early in the thread: displaying the m3 of the required fuel. I'm debating firing up a POS, and your app has been great in many ways at helping me figure stuff out, but the remaining question I always end up with is how much of a logisitcs hassle it would be. Manually looking up m3 & multiplying out for each time period's fuel load as I try different things gets tedious :)

Man...and I was just about to release it. :) I'll take another look at this only because I already have some of the code written (since I now have a "Fill" button for calculating how much fuel a tower will hold based on size). Just have to figure out where the total m3 required will fit....stuffs getting crowded.

I could use 3 - 5 beta testers if anyone is interested, evemail me in game and I'll send you a link to the newest version. It's 99% done, just want to make sure I didn't miss any logic errors.

P.S. m3 used by the fuel not only is included but has a pretty progress bar to show you how much of the tower is taken up. :)

Beta Testers: new beta is done, fixed all the found issues plus some. Uninstall the old version before installing the new. Change the 7 in the link you were evemailed to a 8 and that should be the new install file.
Should have the release this week baring any major issues.

It will be fully resizable. Well almost...it has a minimum size (around 740 x 540) but no maximum so it can be run maximized now.

I only found this program yesterday while looking for other POS information and have to say it looks very handy. Just wish I'd found it before setting my own spreadsheet up as it does just about everything I want, and with the addition of the fuel volume calculations it'll make running a POS less of a PITA.
Very nice work.... :D

Just tried the API feature and it keeps coming back with "No found on this account" when I try to do "Lookup Account". Not a big issues as it's easy enough to get the fuel levels, just thought I'd try this feature out, anything to save time and make life easier.
Also typo on the API page, Uesr ID instead of User ID.
Other than that, looks good so far.

Yup...definitely a typo. However the account lookup should work fine....sure your not behind a proxy server that you need to plug in? I just pulled my character info and then pulled 3 towers down and verified fuel levels without a issue.
Try it again and let me know.

Just tried again now, same result... "No characters found". I can see it going through the proxy fine and when I enter the wrong API key it comes back informing me that the username/password is wrong, so I presume that it's connecting properly. Just out of interest, do you have more than one character on that account.. clutching at straws I know but it seems to be working, just reckons I've got no characters on this account.

Hrm...I do have multiple characters. I'll try to find a corp mate with director roles that has one character (unless someone wants to send me there full api and just change it when I'm done debugging) and see if I can find out whats going on. On the flip side add another character and see if it works. :)

I did not get that bug in any of my testing, nor did the beta testers. I'll try to recreate it. Those progress bares are a custom control which I would gladly get rid of and use a more "standard" progress bar but then I couldn't do the color change as it gets close to 100%. On the flip side it would look like the tower m3 bar and I could use text on top of it. Maybe I'll do that.
Thanks for the feedback. The screen shots help....don't need the full text of the errors usually....just the first couple lines usually does it (in the above example the "Arithmetic operation" line and the next line is all I need to track that down).

Direct should try to, well, directly connect. Auto should use whatever is in your internet options.
There is definitely something going on with the character pull back since a account with three characters pulls back 2 of them. I'm sure its something simple like a loop thats starting at 1 instead of 0. Will look into it tomorrow and once thats fixed try to get the couple other things (spelling, progress bar) and get a bugfix version up. If anyone finds anything else please post.

I don't know if you'll already have found this but...
Should have really just put my programming head on first rather than just saying it wasn't working. I'll blame that one on tiredness
I'm not a VB programmer so bear with me, as I've just been looking the functions up this morning, but these lines don't look right to me.
File : TowerAPIForm.vb
In : "Private Sub LookupAccountSimpleButton_Click"
The section that reads:
If UBound(characters.CharacterListItems) > 0 Then Dim x As Integer ReDim myCharacters(UBound(characters.CharacterListItems)) For x = 0 To UBound(myCharacters) - 1
Shouldn't that be something like:
If characters.CharacterListItems.Length > 0 Then Dim x As Integer ReDim myCharacters(characters.CharacterListItems.Length) For x = 0 To UBound(myCharacters)
As it stands, the first If will always evaluate as false for an account with one character as UBound will return 0 for an array with one element, hence the error message I've been getting.
Same sort of thing for the other two UBound calls, the next one would create an array of size 0 for an account with one character and the third one would give For x = 0 To -1.
This would explain why I'm getting the "No characters" message and why you're only getting 2 characters back on a 3 character account.
Like I've said, I'm not a VB programmer, but hopefully that makes sense

Edited by: Jonas Vinthyn on 23/04/2008 13:18:04 lol.....yeah I fixed it already and yes I used characters.CharacterListItems.Length instead of the ubound (which I could get working but its easier to use the length property). I'll explain:
Originally by: Karina Mei
The section that reads:
If UBound(characters.CharacterListItems) > 0 Then Dim x As Integer ReDim myCharacters(UBound(characters.CharacterListItems)) For x = 0 To UBound(myCharacters) - 1
Shouldn't that be something like:
If characters.CharacterListItems.Length > 0 Then Dim x As Integer ReDim myCharacters(UBound(characters.CharacterListItems)) For x = 0 To myCharacters.Length - 1
I have something close:
If characters.CharacterListItems.Length > 0 Then Dim x As Integer ReDim myCharacters(characters.CharacterListItems.Length) For x = 0 To characters.CharacterListItems.Length - 1
Originally by: Karina Mei
Same here as well.
For x = 0 To UBound(myCharacters) - 1
Shouldn't that be something like:
For x = 0 To myCharacters.Length - 1
Since I fill my own array with the data from that first call and then use that new array for the combo box none of the code for that needed to be changed. Once the first part was fixed the second worked also. I verified this as I have two characters on one account that both have director rights and I could switch characters and download each corps towers successfully. So now I am pulling all three characters, before I was pulling two. Gonna clean up a couple other little things and push out the revision.
-Jonas.

That's funny as I had the same thing the first time around and then put the ReDim line back as the original UBound version. Made more sense to me using length rather than UBound, not sure why I edited it again

Yeah they cover just about everything you need to know to use it. Most of it is pretty straight forward anyway, but the tooltips helped when I first started with it. Seems to be working as expected so far, fuel levels match and the copy and compare evemails functions are very handy

Edit... Found it, MoonID cross-references to ItemID in the eveNames Table.
Yup....its cross refrenced in the eveNames table, which as you know from looking it up is HUGE. I actually started to go through the table and pulled out only moons and then only ID and moon name but it still worked out to be too big to include. I'll look into doing it again, maybe I can convert it to a real simple CSV file, zip it, and unzip on the client machine for lookups. Would be nice to have....its a pain when you have 4 small towers of the same race and you have to check fuel levels to figure out which is which.

Could but I doubt it would happen. :) I'll try though.
I loaded up the eveNames table into a copy of MS SQL, extracted the moons and ids into a text file, and then used the built in compression of the .Net framework and it gets down to 2.3Mb. So I could add the data by embedding that 2.3Mb file into the exe then pulling it out, uncompressing it, and searching the id's for moon names when someone tries to lookup a moon. The process should take 5 - 6 seconds for the first lookup and less then 1 second for each additional lookup (based on other lookups and the decompression algorithm...and computer speed of course). I'm gonna play with it a bit and see what I can come up with.

Ok....I can add the moon lookup functionality but its SLOW and a horrible resource hog. Then again you aren't going to be doing it very often so I guess its acceptable (about 20 seconds for the first tower to be pulled down and 10 - 15 for each after that). I'll see if I can find a way to optimize the lookup of the moon names but with a 50Mb flat data file its going to be hard.

V2.0.5 update is now available that has the moon data lookup function. This will take the Moon ID that is downloaded from CCP and go through a lookup procedure to link it to the actual moon. This is a very CPU and memory intensive procedure, through the guys that beta tested for me it took on average 15 seconds per tower lookup which CPU usage spiked to 100% and memory usage hovered around 250Mb. However if you have multiple towers its well worth the wait to get the actual moon name.
The first post has been updated, those that have ANY version 2.0.0 or higher need to just download the 2.0.5 update and unzip it into their My POS folder. Anyone still running the older v1.* should uninstall and download the full v2 install file.

I noticed an interesting Glitch, seems to only affect Medium and Large tower settings.
When going over ~2,200,000 PG the colored bar disappears. (used small blasters as a test, though it happens with any module)

Oversite, there wasn't any real changes to the executable between .4 and .5 so ignore that for now. Once I fix the PG issue there will be a .6...just wait for that.

Yeah, I thought about saving the API down to the tower file but its too much of a security concern as its the full access api. I only have two corps towers to worry about so I just made a alt and put the alt in the second corp with director roles, this way one account has a director in both corps and I can access both towers with the one API. Maybe I'll add a way to store multiples in the future and save the tower ID to the API so no matter what tower to try it will look up the right API or if it can't find one prompt for the API.
V2.0.6 has been released. Download the update here:
http://www.cassandraslight.com/MyPOS/MyPOS.zip
This cleans up the versioning so both the fresh install and the update say 2.0.6 and also should fix the PowerGrid bar disappearing issue. No one has commented on my sweet easter egg though....I'm fairly disappointed.
Oh also updated the code download on the site so its also on v2.0.6 if anyone wants to check that out.

Not sure why you would need the fuel req saved with the save file, especially since you'd just hit the calculate button when you load the file and get it updated. That and once its there you can hit copy and send it to whoever you need. I'd hate to add a lot of bloat to the files for no reason since it calculates so quickly.

I always get a kick when people start saying "It needs this or that added!"
All programmers should be aware of "Creeping Extravaganza" That is where you start with a 100 line program that does x. Programmer says "It would be nice if it did this" and a month later has a 10000 line program that still basically does x.
Thanks for your work.

100% agree with the positive comments above. My only problem is that for some reason, only on my machine, it comes up with ridiculously huge costs for running any POS. For a medium CT it tries to tell me that it costs 3.5+ billion isk for 26 days of operation. I loaded MyPOS onto a computer at my school and the figures were proper. Any advice would be appreciated. My dot net stuff is up to date and I have the latest release of MyPOS. Oh and I'm running XP SP3 (32bit) on a dual-core AMD Turion64. Is anyone else running it on anything similar?

Wow....that makes no sense. Can you set all the values to 0.0, make sure Settings -> Save Price Changes is checked, exit and open it back up to make sure it saves the 0.0 values? After that put in like all 1's and see if the calculation works and if so put the normal values back in (Or do a reset settings).
If that doesn't work I'm not sure where to start...the calculations are just quantity * price. Try above first.

Love the program. Question though. I have 7 towers set up in the program atm. All done via the API. When I download the latest fuel for a tower, the time remaining and current quantities show up correctly in the "Fuel Supply" tab at the bottom. But when I switch to another tower the fuel supply doesn't change at all. I have to hit download again to get it to show me what's on the tower I'm currently viewing.
Am I missing something here?
Seems to me the "Fuel Supply" tab should change to show the last data for the currently selected tower.
On a seperate note have you considered making the time remaining actually count down? This would be very handy as it would limit the amount of times someone is hitting the API to see how much time they have left before hopin in a hauler. |

Originally by: Sutonimh I have to hit download again to get it to show me what's on the tower I'm currently viewing. Am I missing something here?
No, thats right. I don't have anything coded to clear out the data when switching towers. When you download its only downloading fuel for the selected tower (using the unique tower id from the selected tower) and not all the tower fuel data. I don't make a call for all towers because I figured people would just download for the one they want to know about. I also don't store the info because any slight change will throw off the numbers (something online/offlined, fuel added/removed, etc). Its easier just to click it when you need it.

Hey Jonas! I have some feature requests :)
When attempting to load towers with the API with the Lookup Moon Names option, if you have a bunch of towers it can be painfully slow.. Would it be possible to attempt to look up the ID from the towers currently loaded first, before attempting to look it up in the database? I have no experience with VB, but something like a for loop around line 136 in TowerAPIForm.vb that looks through myTowers.TowerID for the same ID? If the ID is found then load the human readable location of that tower and if not, look in the database.
Would it also be possible to implement the ability to name towers? Instead of Tower 1, Tower 2, Tower 3 as the label for each tab, you could have something like "Jump Beacon Tower", "Jump Bridge JZV" or "MGAM POS".
My dream feature would be a button that works the same as the Compare Evemail button for the All button. You could set the time you want, say 3 weeks. Hit the all button and it shows how much total fuel you need for each tower for 3 weeks. Then hit the "Compare to Fuel Levels" button and the program runs through each tower and subtracts how much fuel it actually has from the total. Care would have to be taken to ensure the correct amount was subtracted however. If you had 2 towers, tower A with 1 week of fuel and tower B with 4 weeks of fuel and you set the set the time for 2 weeks, the result should be one week of fuel for tower A and not zero.

It seems 99% of the issues can be fixed by going to your Add/Remove programs, uninstalling all versions, then downloading the install file fresh from the website and installing that. This will insure all the settings get erased and all the files that should be there are.
If you've tried that and still have a problem please let me know here or in game.

As many others have stated .... nice program, though I am not a director or CEO and cant use it to it fullest.
I do have a question though and that is concerning the Tower m3 progress bar. Is this supposed to track the amount of hauler space required to bring the station to the time set in the interval to check? If so, then I am wondering why when I added 4 med laser batteries it went up and over the normal hauler amount?

Each tower has a total m3 it can hold in its fuelbay, that progress bar gives you a idea of what you can fit in it.

Edited by: Voltaire Leriel on 19/07/2008 06:53:32 I love the tool. But it's missing just a few things that would make it truly brilliant.
I have a custom spreadsheet I use that shares a lot in common with this tool. I'm going to be retiring most of the spreadsheet since I've found MyPOS. But one thing that my sheet has that this tool doesn't is a way to calculate fuel stockpiles.
Here's what my sheet does: It figures out how much fuel all my towers are using, then I tell it how many days of fuel I'd like to have in surplus (not inside towers). I know your tool does something similar... but keep reading....
After that I type in how much fuel I have at various locations such as my high-sec freighter drop-off base, my low-sec jump freighter jump-off base, and my outpost. It totals all of those numbers up and tells me how much more I need to reach my surplus goal (usually 90 days worth). It also tells me what percentage of what I need is actually in my outpost, so I can tell what things I'm low on at the final drop off point for fuel (So i can prioritize what I bring via jump freighter).
It also tells me how much cargo what i need is going to take up, how much it will cost me to buy, and the total cost to run all towers for 1 hour, 1 day and 1 month.
I always keep many more months of fuel handy just in case I'm not able to get the shopping done as much as I'd like to. Every time I do a full fueling to all my towers, I go in and adjust my stockpile numbers to see how much more fuel I need in order to have that "cushion."
I'll probably use your tool for everything but the stockpile calculations, since it can't do them. I see there is a way to tell it "I want X days of fuel for all towers" but that doesn't take into account how much fuel I already have in my stockpiles across multiple systems...
Here's a screen shot of what I'm talking about.
Only other thing missing would be that you can't rename the towers.... wtf? _________________________________________________________

For those of us that are not directors or CEOs another option for not being able to use API would be awesome.
If it saved all the fuel I entered manually into that tower and then did a countdown itself like EVEMon does for skills would be awesome.
We would be responsable for manually updating it but at least I know exactly when I need to rush back and fill the towers before they start sending my CEO eve mails.

Type in the new values and make sure under settings you have save prices set.
As for the other requests I haven't had much time to work on this at all. If you have some programming experience I do have the code available for download on the corp website...you can play and add what you want. Otherwise it may be a long while before I make any major change.
What is kinda amazing is there have been 6900 downloads since the newest version was released...I didn't think there were that many people dealing with POS.

Version has been updated to 2.1.0. Please UNINSTALL the old version and install the new one fresh. The custom controls used for skinning and layout have been updated and uninstall/reinstall is the cleanest way to make sure you get updated.

Following changes have been made since 2.0.6:
- Can now rename towers. Right click somewhere on the towers tab (like between tower and location) and you should get a rename option. This also gets saved to the xml - Serpentis Small Railgun now has the correct PG usage (81000). - Made "Lookup Moon Data" off by default. - Custom skinning and layout controls have been updated from 8.1.* to 8.2.2. performance should be a little quicker with the UI.
As for the other requests I'm still saying no because there all very time consuming (above changes took 30 min...) and would ass a lot of bloat. Maybe someday.

Oh, here is a updated MoonData.txt.zip to include the new moons in Black Rise. Delete both MoonData.txt.zip and MoonData.txt from your My Pos directory then save this file into there:
http://www.cassandraslight.com/MyPOS/MoonData.txt.zip
I stripped out all the spaces in the names from the new official Empyrean Age data dump so the zip file is about 40% smaller and the extracted moon file is now 1/3 the original size (50Mb -> 14Mb). This also leads to faster moon lookup...on my PC it was on average 20 - 30% faster.

Hi, Im having issues with the download. When download it's fine and dandy for the first 30 seconds then it slows to a crawl, then eventually just stops. My internet is fine, tried with other downloads, so I don't think the problem is on my end.
Is it possible to upload to a filemirror or something?
Thanks in advance.

so was having problems decompressing the moondata.txt file. The program gave an error about not having enough memory or disk space. I saw your thread about the moon data file and tried changing that out when I realized small issue. After some fooling around I remembered about having to confirm file deletion in vista 64. So I ran the program as admin and it's working on decompression now. not sure how to fix this. It was an issue for evemon as well when vista first came out.

Do you have previous versions of the install file? I saved over the the v2.0.6 with the new v2.1.0 and now I can't uninstall the old one.

Originally by: testkyra I saw your thread about the moon data file and tried changing that out when I realized small issue. After some fooling around I remembered about having to confirm file deletion in vista 64.
The install program installs a "blank" moondata.txt file then when the new file is extracted it deletes the blank file and replaces it with the big file. I did this so if you uninstall the program the big moondata.txt will also properly get uninstalled (since it will uninstall all files it installed). If I don't do this it could leave that moonfile on a uninstall so I think I need to keep it this way so its cleanly uninstalls for those that want to do that. Unfortunate that Vista is doing that however....I'll look to see if I can get around that.
Originally by: deepfreeze007 Do you have previous versions of the install file? I saved over the the v2.0.6 with the new v2.1.0 and now I can't uninstall the old one.
Hrm....does it give you a error when trying to uninstall? If so just delete the MyPOS directory and install the new one. You may end up with two "MyPOS" listings in your Add/Remove programs group (the old 2.0.6 and the new 2.1.0) but it should run fine.
Also a huge thanks to the guys that have sent me some isk for my work. I check my player donations from time to time and I send out a in game thank-you also but wanted to post here. Its nice to know people are using it and appreciate it enough to send me a token of there appreciation. Thanks!

Delete your temp files and try again? Try deleting C:\windows\ and c:\Documents and settings\(user ID)\Local Settings\Temp and rebooting then trying again. Also make sure you download the file to your desktop or something and run it from there, not click the link and run from the site.

I'm not sure what to tell you...I've tried the above from two different computer on two different internet providers and both work. In fact I just tried before posting this and it's working correctly. All I can say is possibly your having internet issues....see if you can download it from another computer or service.

Would it be possible to customize the fill button so that it calculates based on a custom m3? You could put in the size of your hauler and it would calculate the most efficient use of space in your hauler. Make it something that could be changed easily and quickly for people who have multiple haulers.

Hrm....does it give you a error when trying to uninstall? If so just delete the MyPOS directory and install the new one. You may end up with two "MyPOS" listings in your Add/Remove programs group (the old 2.0.6 and the new 2.1.0) but it should run fine.
So no archive or saved backups of previous versions? Says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." When I point it at the "MyPOSInstaller.msi" file and try again, a warning pops up that says "The file 'C:\EVE\MyPOSInstaller.msi' is not a valid installation package for the product My POS. Try to find the installation package 'MyPOSInstaller.msi' in a folder from which you can install My POS."
Is just deleting my old My POS v2.0.6 directory gonna let me install the new version? Not gonna FUBAR my compy? I don't want to delete that directory and not be able install the new version, and not have the old one anymore. __/\___/\___/\___/\__________________________

For both your issues I still think its a temp file from a old install messing you up. If you still have the My POS directory either delete it or rename it something else or move it somewhere else. Clear out your temp files (inc internet files), download the install fresh (do NOT run from current location...actually download the install file to your computer) and try it again.

A new version is out, 2.2.0, and has the following changes:
- Tracking Array and Stealth Array are now properly included (They have been in the software but the catagories for them were not displaying - The data for towers and fittings is now exported out of the code into XML files which should allow the ability to update just the data files in the future instead of updating the whole program - A error was fixed that would happen when the fitting list has focus and you added or loaded towers - 5 extra skins were added
Please read the first post for more information. (basically uninstall what you have, download and install the new version).

No not really....I'd have to a do a lot of extra work to pull in the damage stats for everything, which right now I'm not doing (all thats pulled in is name, item id, cpu, and pg). That and I have no desire to do it. It's open source...someone else is welcome to play with it. :)
Or the EFT guy could add a import for my file type since it's pretty simple XML although I doubt he wants to do that either.

Usually this comes from the EVE API not being available or your internet connection being down. Try it again and make sure if you need a proxy server you have it set for that.

This is a great program!
A little suggestion: It would be totally glad to have the current fuel-supply seperated for each tower and automaticly downloaded in the background so that one is able to have a quick fuel-overview of all the towers and don't need to click the Download-Button for each tower manually to see if there is a tower in fuel need. Combined with a neat overview page where you see all your towers and their time-left status and this is going to be a big thingy!
Great!

Or alternatively, store an id next to APIKey and store a reference to the key ID in each tower record.

I was thinking the same thing the other day when I was adding a "research" mode and a "defense" mode and had to go through and on/off line modules. The listview, as you might be able to tell, is the only thing thats still a standard windows based control and not part of the custom ones. I may upgrade it eventually to the custom controls which will make it look better and if I do that I'll add the on/off line option to multiples along with remove.

The API, tower data is only available to directors and CEO's through it. Program just takes that data and formats it for itself so its not the limiting thing here.

First thanks for a superb piece of software, you have made my job as POS janitor so much easier.
Only bug I'm noticing is when you do an "all" calculation for fuel requirements and then copy to clipboard it lists the same tower for all of them instead of what each tower is. Now I haven't gone back to manually check if it's adding right (hoping it is) but that little bug is a bit disconcerting.
Also, if you ever get time, an export to XLS would be awesome. :P

Export to xls....that actually would be pretty easy assuming a person has Excel on their machine. Could even make a sheet per tower.
As for the "All" calculation it goes through each tower, does the requirements, and just adds them together. I'll look at adding the tower names/locations to the totals.
Current security level not high enough messages are coming from the CCP servers. Verify your using a FULL api and not a limited use and also verify your director roles. Worse case have the CEO try it with his to verify it's working.
As for a update I haven't had a chance to go through and see what POS structures changed. Soon as I do I'll post either a new build or just a data file. This info is stored in real simple xml files in the programs directory (catagories.xml, fittings.xml, and towers.xml) and if there are changes this is all that will need to be replaced.

Quick fix for the new fittings. Just unzip the file into your My POS install directory (default to c:\Program Files\My POS\) and overwrite the "fittings.xml" file that is in there:

Adds in the subsystem array, experimental lab, polymer reactor, and hybrid polymer silo.

Yeah...the moon database doesn't have the wormhole moons in it. Go to Settings and uncheck "Look Up Moon Names". That should fix that issue. Next update I will add a "Not Found" or something to account for wormhole space.
I've gotten multiple evemails asking me to add in polymer reactors and the new structures from the last expansion. Read up 4 or 5 posts, unzip the zip file to your program directory. All that needs to be done until I release the next actual update. My POS - POS Fitting and Fuel Calc

Not really Preddy, I'm trying to keep this as simple and small as possible. Maybe some day you'll be able to right click a mod and get a basic info sheet on it ala EveMon but it's a big maybe.

NEW VERSION RELEASED.
A couple people sent me nice donations and some requests so I did what I could. Thanks for the isk guys!!! Paid for most of my last GTC which keeps me in game which makes me work on this more. :)
Changes from 2.2.0 -> 2.3.0:
- Moon lookup is 800% - 1200% faster. Yeah that's right. - Fixed a bug on a Copy to now show all the towers that were calculated. - Added a Excel export. It requires Excel to be on the machine currently (and only works for certain version) but it's a start. - Upgraded the custom controls to the newest version, rendering is a big quicker.
UNINSTALL the old version and install the new one to avoid issues.

No real reason to upgrade to .Net 3.5 or WPF that I can see, in fact those with older machine (Windows 2000 for example) can't use 3.5. Plus personally I find 3.5 to be a bit slower then 2.0.

Jonas, there's a slight library problem with the latest version of MyPOS.
The compression library you use for the moon data is not 64bit safe, as a result when MyPOS is executed using the 64bit .NET framework, the library fails to load and MyPOS thinks that the decompression process is failing due to a lack of RAM.
Because not all of your libraries are 64bit safe, you need to mark MyPOS as a 32bit-only application so that it's not loaded up as a 64bit application. Doing this resolves the library issue and allows MyPOS to work correctly. You can either change this at build time with a compile option, or change the compiled binary with the CorFlags utility.
And thanks for app, it kicks ass. ---- FREE Explorer Lead Megalomanic EVE Null-Sec Player Influence Map http://dl1.eve-files.com/media/corp/Veritefw/FWinf |

It comes in the .Net SDK. You may have it already, if so it's at C:\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\SDK\v2.0 64bit\Bin\CorFlags.exe
You'd need to run that against MyPOS.exe with the /32BIT+ switch. ---- FREE Explorer Lead Megalomanic EVE Null-Sec Player Influence Map http://dl1.eve-files.com/media/corp/Veritefw/FWinf |

No I missed it. :) Here is a new fittings file. Unzip it to your My POS directory to add in the X-Large array: http://www.cassandraslight.com/MyPOS/fittings.zip
It will be in the next update...hoping to add a auto update check for these data files in the future.

It will be...I need to clean it up but for the most part its 99% the same as 2.2.0.

What's kinda odd is I have no problems with it on my XP 64 bit machine. The compression/decompression routine is just the .Net Compression.GZipStream stuff. I'll play with it. For now here is a WinZip version, just extract the file to your My POS directory and overwrite the existing MoonData.txt file: http://www.cassandraslight.com/MyPOS/MoonDataWinZip.zip

I just pulled out all moon names (TypeID 14 in the eveNames table) from the latest data dump (Apocrypha_1.2.0.88517_db) and the total number of moons is 232,767 which is exactly how many I already have. So I looked over the raw data in the eveNames table and it looks like planets, stations, etc from Black Rise ARE included but the moons are NOT. So until they are put in there isn't much I can do.

Who are these "people"? The full source code is uploaded for anyone to see and verify it doesn't send anything other then back and forth to CCP URL's so this is either just a blatant lie or a bad coincidence.
Originally by: Jonas Vinthyn lol.....nevermind. Found a way to remove the entire compression routine AND shrink the install file by a couple 100k all while retaining the full moon lookup. Progress is awesome.
New version has been uploaded that fixed the compression issues with 64 bit OSs (actually removes it entirely) and tweaks a couple things here and there. Smaller, faster, better. The full source has also been uploaded for review.
It appears the CCP servers are returning a "Server too busy" right now so I was unable to test downloading the character data. I tried updating my EVEMon and it's not updating either so it really seems to be on their side.

Except anyone with half a brain would not run any 3rd party app related to the EVE API without;
A) Packet trapping it for a while to see if it's trying to communicate with anything but the API server, or
B) As with MyPOS being open source - Downloading/installing the provided copy, then compiling your own from source and checking out some leet hashes.
MyPOS passes both tests, so...
go away troll.

Very nice and just what I needed. I've run into two issues:
1. Low fuel notice reading from clipboard. I see you already know about this. 2. I've put in the correct API and it got the POS fine. But when I download fuel stats it errors out. "Error getting tower details for tower <ID>. Make sure the API you are using is in the same corp as this tower or try downloading the tower information again. Details of this error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
Yes, correct API. Downloaded tower info three times.

Thanks Kombat PL. I plan on just commenting out that line....it's not needed for fuel. In fact I had it commented out but that library got updated and I must have forgotten that I commented it out.
My source is on another computer, I'll recompile the dll tomorrow and post up a link. As for the moon data see a couple posts up (post 248)....the last CCP approved data dump did not contain the black rise moons. If you have a CCP dump of the eveNames table that has them I'd be happy to include them in the next release but I haven't seen one yet.

Hi Jonas,
Thanks for this piece of fine program. About the fuel system. When i download fuel data from eve, it updates fuel status for just that tower and then shows same amount to all towers. Is this the way it is supposed to be? Somehow i thought there would be "live" fuel monitoring for all towers.
Anyways thanks :)

Not sure how that's possible.....the program defaults to 754 x 556 which should fit on any screen 800 x 600 or larger. Grab a screen shot and post a link to it or email it to Jonas (at) Cassandraslight.com

You can also right click somewhere near the fitting area (like between the tower drop down and the location label) and a "Rename this tower" popup should appear. For some reason I couldn't get the right clicking on the tab itself to work.....since I got it working anywhere else on the tab I didn't hunt for a solution.

I'll take a look at it next chance I get. The custom controls library that is doing the skins and what not have been updated and I need to include those in the next revision...speeds up drawing of the forms and should make sure it's all Win7 compatible. Need to do some testing on my Win7 box and once I have I'll upload a newer version.
Or maybe I'll wait for the Dominion update and hopefully they'll finally release the rest of the moon ID's and locations in the data dump so I can include that too. We'll see.

Seems to be working fine for me in 7, however there is two things I'd like to feature request:
1) the possibility to add separate fitment options, so I can say that this is the modules I'd like to have on the POS while doing normal work, maybe another set during another set of circumstances (change between multiple types of reactions for example), maybe a set while under attack, another when the tower is reinforced.
And one where you see absolutely all the modules that you'll have to bring/anchor to the POS, given maximum reuse of POS equipment.
Today I'm just making multiple towers with the specific setups for each circumstance, I'd prefer it if I didn't have to do that.
2) graphs to show the falloff and dps of guns, maybe even a way to get a visual representation of how the DPS will be in relation to the tower, so choosing guns etc will be easier.
Although 2) is very much a wishlist item. 1) I'd say would be more beneficial.
Other than that, though, excellent work!

Set the fitting you want. Do a "Save Fitment", call it what it's for ("moon mining", "defense", etc). Then just apply fittings as you need. Or add all the modules and offline what you don't want to display.

I've been off a lot lately and haven't checked this thread but someone did evemail me. I'll take a look at the fuel import section....the code used to get tower data is based on the libeveapi code (http://code.google.com/p/libeveapi/) and it looks like that project is at a stand still. I'll see if I can muddle my way through their code and find the error.
The custom controls library that I use also has had a couple updates that really should be deployed so that will be done at the same time. Look for a update in the next week.

Edited by: Jonas Vinthyn on 05/01/2010 17:44:21 So I found the issue and fixed it in the API parser. I then went to download my towers fuel and coolant came up as blank and fuel remaining was at 0 days. I kept trying to troubleshoot if they made another change to the API and it turns off my tower was offline because it had no coolant.
So here is the quick fix. Download the updated libeveapi.dll file to the My POS program directory (by default C:\Program Files\My POS) and overwrite the existing one:
Updated libeveapi.dll (36Kb)
I'll release a "proper" update soon.

I full update will be posted later today or tomorrow morning. Working on cleaning up the latest Dominion data dump in regards to moon and system names. I added another status field to the Fuel Supply tab that will give you the status of your tower (since mine was offline when testing it would have came in handy...). The options will be anchored or offline, online (with online time/date), onlining (with time done), reinforced (with until date) and unanchored (which will list in what system it's floating). Also cleaned up the interface a bit and updated the custom controls library to the newest revision which makes it a bit quicker. Also will probably add a extra skins package for those that like that sort of thing. :) My POS - POS Fitting and Fuel Calc

New version released. Changes are listed in the post above this, newest libeveapi is included.
As usual it's recommended you uninstall your old version before installing the new version.
Before someone *****es about missing moon data I just downloaded the dominion data dump from late last month and pulled every system and moon name out of the eveNames table. Guess what? No new moons are in it, still the same 232,767 moons as before. There are additional system names (J??????) but no more moons. So to make up for people saying it doesn't pull the correct moon name I made it look up the system name when no valid moon name is found. At least you'll have the system name then. System name is also used if you have a unanchored tower since it doesn't ahve a associated moon it will list the system the tower is unanchored in. It would be nice if someone can test that out....unanchor a tower then download the fuel and it should say "Unanchored in (system name)" under tower status.

Slight update to version 2.4.1. I added the ability for additional skins and added a skin pack that has 20 some extra skins for the program. Both the new version and the skin pack are on the Cassandra's Light website, see the first post.

Has anyone tried to download fuel/status info for a unanchored tower? I'm curious to find out the results.

I'm assuming CCP does not include what is anchored in the API. If you could include downloading what items are anchored at each POS, that would be fantastic.
Also, a summary page of the fuel needs & balancing across all POS would be awesome! :)
Thanks!

No, this isn't available...all you can get is the tower, it's status, and it's fuel. My POS - POS Fitting and Fuel Calc
