I reccomend fitting cruiser or battleships sized weapons too, so you can hit the rats easier. And if you're in the drone regions, don't forget the expanded cargohold IIs in the lows to carry all those compounds around.

The sad part is that Moros is actually more than decent for ratting. Think "huge Dominix". _

Seems like your best bet would be to start looking in the drone regions.

Practice with your dread in low sec first, in the belts, to get used to it.

No no no.... FIRST you scramble it.... THEN you shoot it! No point in letting it get away while you're still pounding on shields

I can't believe nobody's mentioned this yet... but...
Remember, the expanded cargohold can hold both loot, salvage (have to fit a salvager in the last high, after the siege module!), and your crucial, crucial Honour! __________________________________

Why scramble when you can just bump it instead ? It's not like it finishes aligning any time this year anyway _

Okay, OP, you've got a bunch of sarcastic pirates in this thread.
DON'T EVER, EVER, EVER NPC IN A DREADNOUGHT! ESPECIALLY NOT SOLO!
You will be tracked down, and you will be killed. Also, they have to use cynos to get around, bit of a pain.
For your wallet's sake, leave it in a hangar until a player corp needs it for something (usually POS melting). Just take a battlecruiser or battleship, just as effective, a lot cheaper, and actually stands a chance in fighting/running from pirates. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... And one Velator in my hangars. |
