People like to be hushhush on setups for Broadswords. I'll share my two setups that I want to release. These are lowsec gang/pirate setups I run.
Quick Locker Highs: 3x 650mm IIs w/ Quake M, 3x Warp Disruption Field Gens w/ Focusing Script Mids: 4x Sensor Booster IIs w/ Locking Speed scripts, 1x LSE II, 1x Medium Cap Injector w/ 800s Lows: 4x Shield Power Relay
Description: This ship is great for medium sized gangs that the sentry turrets can cycle off to. The ship cant withstand solo-tanking the guns itself since they out damage its recharge time. So this is a no no solo ship. Geared specifically to lock a target quickly so that the rest of the gang can take it out. And the 3 arties so you can get some damage in. AWESOME vs pods. 50/50 Chance to one volley most pods. The cap booster 800 is for when you need to warp LONG distances, which kill its capacitor, which takes FOREVER to recharge. And helps when you need to have all three Disruptor Fields going. Add Remote Sensor Boosters to lock EVEN faster, and nab that Tasty Viator Kill
Passive Shield Highs: Same as before Mids: 3x LSE II, 2x Invuln IIs, 1x Shield Recharger II Lows: 4x Shield Power Relays
Description: This setup can tank a beating on its shields, but suffers from really horrible lock times. Remote Sensor Boosting can be effective if you want to dedicate a few ships to it. Great for if your target starts firing back at your broadsword IF you can catch it. Recommended for staying stationary. Dont expect to go hopping gates since there is no way to get that burst of capacitor you need to get to the next gate which is FAR away.
So those are the two setups I'll give out publicly, so lets hear other setups for the broadswords. 0.0 Setups, FLEET Setups and such. Feel free to criticize my setups, but they work VERY effectivly in the numerous times Ive used them, meaning they arent EFT Warrior setups. Tried and Tested in the field :)

Last I checked, ships dont come single file, One after the other one blows up. And why not?

this is what i had in mind for empire wars and lowsec gateganking:
Power Diagnostic System II Power Diagnostic System II Power Diagnostic System II Gyrostabilizer II
Y-T8 Overcharged Hydrocarbon I Microwarpdrive Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II Invulnerability Field II
220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M Warp Disruption Field Generator I, Focused Warp Disruption
Projectile Burst Aerator I Projectile Collision Accelerator I
cap is stable if no nos/neut on you. big effective HP (84k), but bad recharge rate, so it's more like a big buffer than a real passive tank. but the DPS is nice (315-ish), so maybe you don't have to tank that long ;)
maybe a totally bad setup, i don't know, it's still only on paper, rate it for me ^^. personally i think this setup can be worth in some situations, but however in most of the situations the classic passive tank of DaknessInc will survive better.
problem i have is, that i definitaly need a cap booster if i have that much SPRs in lows. the warp disruption field with script doubles its cap use

Maybe 2 CCC rigs? instead of the ones you have listed there?

My guess would be so that he can focus scram 3 ships at once.
The setups look nice, but really having multiple WDFs on one ship has no viable purpose aside from serving as an over-tanked Gallente Recon. If you want to scram more than one non-titan or non-mothership at a time, just get in range and use the field. If you do want to scram more than one titan or mothership at a time, you should probably be using more than one HICtor.

Edited by: Nicholas DW on 31/12/2007 00:10:04 When camping 0.0 with a Phobos in small gangs, I've found myself in situations where you need the bubble up to keep them from warping, but where the 18-20km bubble isn't enough when they uncloak so close to the edge of it. So for in 0.0, it might be useful to have one scripted WDFG and one unscripted.
The extra blaster or rail doesn't really add all that much when they are 16km from you to start with and your MWD is useless. But I really can't see how the 3rd WDFG is all that viable in most of the situations you're going to find yourself in, but two might be nice for low sec if you find multiple targets. What I use in lowsec:
5x 425mm II 1x Field Generator (Script)
1x 10mn MWD II 1x Web II 3x LSE II 1x Invul II
3x PDS II 1x SPR II
2x Purger
Not the greatest DPS but good for ganking ships of similiar size and smaller ones
