Anyway back to the point i'm going to make to you all.
After years of campaigning on these forums and getting into scrapes with the people up high. They finally listenned to me and the others in regards to bringing in walking on stations ... well the promise of waalking on stations.
After taking about 7 months out, Im back and have a few pointers - the first being the user list everytime ive logged in... It is very low EVE. BUT heres my point and heres where you will begin to me my true supremacy in forecasting the long sight of mmorpgs.
Walking on stations will bring in about 25 to 75 000 more players playing at once so hang in there EVE and people and for God's sake get your servers ready for the increase. This I forecasted three years ago along with the fact that EVE has the best potential of any of the mmoprgs out there on the market at this time, a potential as yet i must admit I don't see being implemented to its full.
Now for my second point - FACTION WARFARE...!
It would be nice for an apology to us long standing players that have taken promise after promise on the chin when the promises never materialise. Anyway i was having a think about this the other day and i began to realise the probability at EVE's not delivering. Faction warfare would kill corp game play.
But their is a solution to this problem eve and once again I have come up with the solution to this problem. FACTION PIRATE WARFARE. heres the spec.
1 when walking on stations comes out - create four stations for the pirate factions - IE one for serpentis - 1 fr blood raiders etc etc. each pirate faction gets one station. Now bring back logs or keys. each pirate faction drops a key for an OPOSING pirate faction station or log. the aforementionned pilot that gets the log or key is able then to dock at the pirate station for which the key or log is for. Firstly though of course you have to build up your standing with the pirate faction regardless of having a key to be able to dock.
Any pirate faction station will blow up immediately any ship or player that doesnt have the correct faction standing, a key is needed to dock. So this would mean that no-one without a key can be ganged by any player and taken aboard the station .. you have to A find the keys (npc killing in 0.0) and B - have the standing.
Once inside the pirate faction station we will get a glimpse of TRUE real life aliens (A). We will be able to get medals and promotions for such things as killing enemies of the serpentis for eg. These enemies will be other players that are in the opposing pirate factions employ.
The whole point is obviously to grow the BIGGEST pirate faction. With EVE employees being given a specific pirate faction whom they work upon employ this will free them up from general gameplay etc etc. now if you linked the 0.0 space sectors (another potential goaal to create stargates etc etc for your pirate faction we could have running battles against each opposing piraate faction. With medals and rewards being given out and mission cycles and bounties and add starbases and stargates to be built and the whole unniverse to take over (0.0) only this would deem that every player would have to choose ONE pirate faction whom they showed their loyalty .. of course your rce would have a part to play in which faction you were likely to join ..etc etc .. !
Then imagine planetary flying later on and settling planets alongside starbases and space conquest and you would have yourselves the ultimate mmorpg the world has ever seen.
MAKE THOSE PIRATES ALIENS -- and differnet from us humans in shape appearance etc etc and needs ...! Food for eg .. where stations may be able to bring in food creation type careers. harvested from other planets ...! And giving some type of performance bonus, be they pills or such ..all need to be manufactured of course.

One of the main points of pirate faction war will be the spread of ORES and minerals ... for eg .. if you restrict certain minerals .. say zydrine to serpentis 0.0 and megacyte to blood raider 0.0 then the obvious point of capturing blood raider psace will be for the minerals.
MASIVE potential here.
and isnt it more a case of I don;t know YOU after nearly four years of gameplay on my behalf. regards BG

One benefit of this could be that if your standing with the pirate faction is good ten you wont be blown up by their dogs ..!
man npc killing still sucks ...!

Logs should and have always equalled secrets ... they just needed reworking is all not taking out of the game.
SECRETS = one of the most important game contents an mmorpg can have as it keeps the interest up AND HOPE ETC ETC TO BE THE FIRST TO FIND SOMETHNG NEW.. AND GET AHEAD REGARDLESS OF YOUR TIME PLAYING.
