i've installed the new patch like always. where it would then say status unknown in the past while we wait for the 10 min count down. but, not this time i'm still incompatable as if i did not install the patch. so is this normal or something else wrong.

My guess that it isn't compatible because the server isn't fully patched yet. Since it's still down and all.

Wow, someone needs to take a chill pill... I think it's already available for download, since client patches and server patches aren't the same.

in past after we installed a patch. while server is still down, it would change and say status unknown
not this time
this makes me think there is something wrong.

Alright, didn't know that. The message at the log in screen does state that there was/is a problem with the autopatcher, so you could be right.

Theres an article about problems with the auto patcher, thats why the servers arnt open for player connections. Personally I think they should release a manual patch for those few who have auto patcher issues, and let the majority of the player base who have patched fine play.

It tells you what is wrong - the autopatcher (which patches your client) has "issues".....learn to read :P

ah, yes finally, i have update messege to.
so there is a problem. this makes me feel better
it's ccp's update thats the cause and not my pc.
everytime we have to install a patch. i'm on pin and needles when installing and trying to log in.

i have dl the patch and patch my 2 client
with the classic client i get message in "status : invalid protocol" and can do nothing
with premium client, i have no error

I got all the status messages, says patch is fully completed now on logon screen. Stills says incompatible protocol. I do not have the premium graphics version.
