So, if you have been playing for 2 years, why are you posting with a character that is barely 3 months old?
Have some guts! Post with your main if you want to be taken seriously.

Smells like a fanboi or dev alt to me.....
If you aren't an alt, and just made up the part about being around for 2 years, I must say that I enjoyed reading your mindless optimism. Hang around a while, you'll learn.
Cheers. Time to go get drunk while the powers that be decide our fate....

COME ON PEOPLE!!!
Be at least polite.
And instead of repeatedly asking the same questions why don't you go to the test server to check out what is true. If you had done that you would know that the Apoc gets an optimal bonus.

I hope you just didn't jinx them to not do what that *other game* did, and blow away the wrong boot.ini ...

All I care about is getting the trinity torp range fixed to actually hit the distance it is supposed to (flight time x velocity). The BH said it would be fixed in Trinity 1.1 but it wasn't on the first list. Who cares about the explosion glitch I just want my month worth of pure range skills to actually work ): Oh and for you who think that I'm not calculating the targets velocity... your wrong. As far as I was told by the BH my math (which included the target's velocity) was correct.
PLEASE FIX MY TRINITY TORPS!!!!
P.S. For all of you who like to read last sentences and post a reply stating how the trinity torp changes are fine, I agree. This is a glitch in the newer short range (ie- Trinity) torps hitting even shorter than they should.

you're completely right. Still asking the question about the navy apoc again - there were no changes to it on sisi yesterday. I hope it was just forgotten but since no one ever answered this question... (same in the thread on fendahls blog).

We did careful tests of torp ranges with a corp mate. I can confirm what HeavyGunz is saying. Currently there is some kind of glitch with torp ranges. Something is not factored in, not sure if it's skills, flight time, velocity, implants, stacking penalties or rigs. Ingame tests give different results than flight time x velocity from ship fitting screen. (HeavyGunz, who or what is BH?)
The removed patch notes and dev blogs have not mentioned Navy Apoc being changed. This can't be right, surely?

Originally by: Saromaru if youre gonna complain that making and maintaining games is so easy go make your own game and see how it sells its expensive and only pays for upkeep of the game not food and family XD (being a programmer and 3d design major i know its hard as hell) lol thats all
Not to mention that any "Triple A" game requires millions in funding and takes a team of one hundred 2 years or more. And even after that it likely makes a loss, which is why sequels are so popular with publishers (They generally sell less, but cost an order of magnitude less to make, so actually make a profit).
Most MMOs go by the same formula: Sequels (expansion packs) or go bust. MMOs like EVE that don't charge for expansions, but still have them (so the game doesn't get stale) aren't common. An MMO server is expensive to maintain after all.

slightly OT, but, being a bit of newb, thought a quick question and quick answer might not go a miss - on the issue of training a skill that wont finish in the downtime tomo, i've got one that finishes about 10am, so would like to get something else going before TQ goes down... the thing is, by pausing the skill i'm currently training in, when i go back to it, do i pick up the training exactly where i paused it or does it reset to 0%?
or have i missed what the comment:
Please note: Training a long learning duration skill ending after the scheduled return to service is recommended.
...was about? are they saying i should set a really long training time skill to go before it goes offline?
i'm confused..

It will continue where you paused the skill.

You should set a skill that finishes long after the scheduled end of the downtime. A delayed server startup or reboots are not uncommon after a patch.

I'm still holding out hope that they'll include the urgently needed changes to the Moa's paint job, the removal of that mysterious bright star that's been driving me into a frenzy of roleplaying delight, and improvements to the bumpmapping on the inside of certain Gallente station environments. I only hope that the QA department are able to take time out from the hectic schedule to produce these patch notes before Tuesday.

What I see is instead of boosting Amarr developers made their main battleship even worst((((( I started playing not long ago and was saving money for Apoc... Now I will not buy this crap. Better give the bonuses as they were and make lasers consume less cap. This is what Amarr race needs.
All U have done so far with this coming "boost" is making Amarr much weaker

Fail at reading. Apoc keeps his Cap Advantage. It becomes inbuild and the old Bonus is replaced with a new one. Also new Fittings. Try a Abaddon and than think again about the Amarr Ships need the Cap Bonus to work right...

I read the patch notes and they included how we are going to revert back to a more WoW style, where we all hold hands and let miners mine all day....
But seriousness aside "Boost" is not the word for it, a few things seemed fine but ship changes are poo, and sort out AF! I want them to have an active role in fleet.

I like how it's currently 13:00 GMT and in 13 hours there is going to be a patch... and there are no patch notes to review. 0200 is in my prime time, and literally a mere hour or 2 after I get off from work, and probably won't be able to prepare for any possible change.
Probably all stealth nerfs anyhow... Perhaps more boosts to isk farmers?
So, why is ccp messing with my sig?

The job completion time is calculated when the job is installed so current jobs will not be altered after the patch.
