www.BIG-EVE.com
The BIG Lottery has turned 1 year old. Something we are rather proud of.
It's not many things in this ever changing world of ours that are left to stand 1 Year after it's birth.
That alone makes this occation special.
The BIG Lottery has had it's up and downs over time - Theres no denying that. Failing interest beeing the hardest to overcome, prompting us to find new ways of 'reviving' it, special events, and as of late, our 50M ISK guarantee.
We would also like to use this occation to thank the (few) sponsors who over time have taken an interest in using the BIG Lottery to promote their products/services. Without them - Our losses would unquestionably have been BIGger
What furthermore makes this occation special - Is of course the very special prize we have this time around. Nothing less than an Imperial Issue Apocalypse.
This prize have kindly been donated to us by well known Gallente holoreel actress Martina Monterneux. The circumstances of the ship comming into her possession is due to the tragical death of her sister in the Elarel Pleasure Gardens massacre last month.
Her reasons for wanting to depart with such a special 'item' is her own. Suffice to say, strong personal reasons are involved. This almost goes without saying of course - As, what other than that would make anyone want to depart with such a unique item.
As this round in itself is special (1 year anniversary), and that we furthermore have a very special prize, it would not be complete without special rules as well.
Special rules for the BIG Lottery 1 Year Anniversary round (#27): 1) Each citizen of EVE is restricted to buying a maximum of 1000 tickets, for a total of 1,000,000 ISK 2) Additional tickets bought will *not* count on the day of the drawing (your ISK will not be lost however - see 3) 3) As we expect the 1 Year anniversary round of the BIG Lottery to become hugely popular due to the prize at offer the total pot size risk ending up 'out-shining' the the main prize itself. In honor of Martina Monterneux's late sister Gloria Monterneux we do not wish this to happen. As such - the ISK pot itself will be moved/added to the next round of the BIG Lottery (#28)
The implication of this is - That should you (somehow) have happened to buy more than the allowed 1000 tickets, all is not lost - As you'll simply automatically get entered into the next round (#28) for the full amount, for a chance of winning the ISK pot of that round.
To clarify: If only two people have bought tickets for round #27, and person A has bought 1000 tickets (1M ISK) and person B has bought 2000 tickets (2M) the following will happen. In round #27 each of the two persons will have a 50% of winning the Imperial Issue Apocalypse. Person B's last 1000 tickets are simply disregarded. In round #28 on the otherhand, person A will have a 33% chance of winning the ISK pot, while person B will have a 66% chance of winning it.
4) Although BIG has never utilized our right (according to the rules) to take our 10% administration fee, we on the other hand, have never declared that we would not, until the round had ended. This time we declare beforehand, that we will not take our 10% administration fee for the rounds #27 (which would be impossiblw regardless) and round #28.
5) All other standard rules apply (Notably that no BIGuns are allowed to enter the lottery)
So there you have it : By only buying tickets in the BIG Lottery 1 year anniversary round (#27) you actually get *two* chances of winning BIG In round #27 you get the chance of getting the Imperial Issue Apocalypse and in round #28 you get the chance of running away with the *combined* sum of ISK put into the BIG Lottery pot, for rounds #27 and #28 - A sum I'm sure will beat any previous BIG Lottery records by far.
Remember the drawing of the new, the 27th, round of the BIG Lottery is on monday May 24th 1800 EVE time (GMT) in ingame channel 'BIG Games'.
Good Luck. BIG Lottery

ouch i sent 10 m isk
Rules 1) You can buy more than one ticket. You can do this with one deposit (say 5K ISK) or multiple purchases. 2) Tickets bought will not be refundable. 3) If you pay in 1,400 ISK, the 400 ISK will be treated as a "donation" to BIG, and will not be refundable If you later pay in 1,600 ISK the 600 will again be treated as a donation. So you only get 2 tickets - and not 3 as if you had payed 3K at once. Any amounts below 1,000 ISK, ie. 567 ISK, will also be treated as a donation. 4) BIG will keep 10% of the deposited ISK - the rest will be payed out as prize money. 5) BIG will only pay out as much in prize money as have been deposited into the lottery via ticket sales (minus the 10%) 6) Mails send to BIG Games will most likely go unread and not be answered. Mails requiring the CSPA charge of 100 ISK, because you have not added BIG Games to you addresbook will never be answered. 7) No member of BIG is allowed to participate in the lottery

/me still thinks it's horrible that CCP would give out such a special item for a lottery, that Amarrian pilots went through hell to EARN in the Amarr Championships. If they wanted to give out some kind of special prize, it could at most have been a GFTL luxury ship that ISD people fly in events.
Nonetheless I'm entering the contest in hopes of keeping it out of the hands of a noob. ______________

If your ticket is picked, you win, no ifs buts or ands, just like any other BIG lottery, who you are has nothing to do with it.

I still really don't like the idea of a Imp Apoc being put into a Lottery. Next thing they do is to give away Gold Magnate BPOs.
Anyway i'll enter the Lottery with 1 mil, if i win i'll self destruct the ship to honor the past, when ccp had a clue what roleplay is.
