I want to have a position in my NPC corp. I'd like to become an Instructor in the school I am apart of. Although I already do this, I'd like it to be official.
I Think a great improvement to the game would be to allow players who join NPC corps to move up in rank... as it were. Not necessarily to control the NPC corp but to make it as a off shoot to missions. Instead of working for agents, you can actually join a NPC corp and work for them and hold events for that corp.
I know many will be apposed to the idea because you can always join a player corp and do that. But for those who want to join a corp that doesn't go to war. Or joining NPC corps that had rival NPC factions, but they were only allowed to attack the NPC's of the other corps or battle only on certain area's where all other area's would be safe.
I hope that someone from CCP would be kind enough to respond to my request.

i agree, the idea of you with a high enugh rating torwards that corp, could become a Permanent worker for them, doing military duty if you were in the Navy, or doing mining duty or trading duty for other corps, for much higher rewards, and much higher difficoulty, perhaps even having 2-3 npc ships with you as a squad God i gotta change my sig..

NPC corps are for training only. You're supposed to stay in an NPC corp only until you're ready to join or form a real one.
So there's no reason to have positions available in them. If you want to help manage a corp, go form or join one.
IMO they should boot you out of the noob corps when you reach 1mil SPs or your first cruiser, whichever is first.

Why? I was in my starting corp for 4 months, and there was also some guys who had been around since beta. They were also willing to share thier experience to new players, and is there really a better way of learning than having someone who has been around for a long time availible to help?

I also don't think that players should be booted out of newbie corps after a set time, or when they reach a certain amount of skillpoints. Where'd they go then? Would their character be executed if they hadn't found themselves a player corp by that time? Would they arbitrarely be assigned into some player corp? OR.. would they be moved to another NPC corp, which would then effectively become just a different kind of newbie corp when players refused to leave it?
It wouldn't work. A workable solution might be such that you wouldn't have to be a member of ANY corp (NPC or PC), so once your time in the newbie corp 'ran out' you'd become a freelancer. Your 'corp' channel would change to a channel where all freelancers of your race were, but none of you belonged to a corp. No one could start a war against freelancers, either, since they weren't considered a corp. The 'freelancers' would hence become the new 'newbie corp' and nothing would change, really.
Besides, as was pointed out, having experienced players in newbie corps makes the introduction of new players into the game a better experience. Many current and past members of the Republic Military School can attest to that fact.

I think corps should have positions.I didnt and still dont want to have to be in a player corp. I am a freelancer.(Yes who want's to hang loose in a non-player corp...cos I need the support of all those agents ...ok I am a part-time freelancer I admit....ok )
I (my main) worked very hard for Rapid Assembly and believe that I should have a stake in the business. (Plans a worker buy-out)
