As for the cake, I'm not even disappointed. We got a MSPaint graph instead, so I'm happy with that.
it doesn't show the percentage in the watch list yet but it's a great idea and I'll keep it in mind for some later update CCP Punkturis | EVE UI Developer | @katrinat |

Is the dragging (to the watch list) making a validity check if the user is in fleet ? (not online won't be for a while, this I'm asking maybe someone can test it)

Thanks for the Blueprint sorting! I've been doing some invention and research - it's going to be so much easier to work through the hundreds of BPOs... :P
Are we going to get a revisit of the overheating modules notiifications?
The blinking green confuses more than not. Red, Yellow, Green, blue would probably be better at least. (Color blind design in mind with any colors...)
Red = overheating, yellow = transitioning on (heating) Green = off, blue = transitioning off (cooling)
And ---
Do you foresee the station services being redesigned in the future on the station panel? I think that they're really out of date and unorganized and kind of a pain. They also take up a lot of space unnecessarily IMHO (even with the small icons).
Oh, and thanks for all the cake!
hmm there are no plans to revisit the overheating colors, we already use the red one for when it's damaged. But if we ever redesign the whole HUD we'll definitely make it better!
I don't know of any plans to redesign the station panel either - sorry. CCP Punkturis | EVE UI Developer | @katrinat |

Sorry, but "Remove Selected" already implemented? If not, would be great to select half of 15 and remove them from WL =)
No we don't have that implemented, I'm not even sure you can multiselect in the Watch List because it also highlightes the entry in the fleet list and has all kinds of special right click menus for each one of them CCP Punkturis | EVE UI Developer | @katrinat |

You'll just have to ask in local what date it is if you can't be bothered to open the calendar! Or ask in the help chat, I'll promise I'll tell you what date it is if I'm there Ya I read Optimal's reply, but what can I say? Sometimes I'm a nag! Thing is... a small little tiny number that hardly took up any space at all and required no clicks to view was replaced with multiple clicks and a big pop-up window to achieve the same functionality. If I haven't moved my Calendar button from the Neocom drop-down menu, I have to navigate through the drop down, open the Calendar, look at the date, then close it again - and while it is open, it's taking up a big percentage of screen real estate and blocking my ability to see anything under it (granted, I'm not opening the Calendar in the middle of a fight but you get the idea). If I have moved my Calendar button from the Neocom drop-down menu, I'm now adding another button to the Neocom's limited real estate, taking up space that might be better served by a button I use far more often. (Honestly, I'm not trying to stretch the argument here just pointing out an aspect of the precious screen real estate argument). Then, to see the date, I have to click the Calendar open, taking up space, then close it again. I understand that the date displaying at the bottom of the screen was intended to act as a way to highlight and bring attention to a new client feature - the Calendar - when it was released. While that was the intention, it actually served to make Eve to Local time/date conversions far less confusing for the easily confused and/or lazy. For those of us not easily confused and/or lazy about time/date conversions, it was just a really nice convenient feature that became relied upon instinctively to Just Be There. So I ask, with my sweetest nicest indoor voice, one woman to another, please, reconsider bringing it back. Or make it an option. Or add a mouse-over hover over the clock. Or a mouse-over on the Calendar button if it is on our Neocom. Or have the Calendar button icon itself display the current date. I love all the changes in Eve that ya'll have worked so hard on! I really appreciate all that everyone at CCP is doing to make our day-to-day lives in New Eden less clicky, more balanced, beautiful to look at, customizable, effective and responsive. Isn't there some way to squeeze this little thing back in? Thanks!

Since there has been a lot of talk about the watchlist. Would it be possible to make the watchlist behave in such a way that if you click someone in the list (assuming the pilot is on grid), you'd then also be selecting his/her ship in space (just like you can select one of your drones in space by clicking on it in the Drones window)?
Reason I ask is cause in fleets where you for example have a fleetmember to anchor on or something similar, it would be nice to have this ability cause it would more easily let you see his/her position relative to yourself, fining that pilot in the overview is usualy not viable as you'd most likely have the overview set to hide fleet members. Having to lock the person just to be able to see where he/she is in the "pack" seems a bit unnessecary and potentialy risky.

Or make them sync-able with the host? Something so we don't have to manually re-set it all
When I saw they were nuked again tonight I just logged off. After a long day of work, I just wanted to play a little, not spend a lot of time re-tweaking the UI. (Yes, I know it's not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but it still sucks). This is especially painful for those of us with multiple accounts & alts & a little OCD. After 6 years of playing the game, I always cringe after each patch until I see if the settings were lost yet again. If you could make this easier to restore you'd be my personal hero.

Hmmmm .... with all those teams doing Little ThingsGäó and doing their utmost at currying favour from us players, isn't it time the inter-office competition for control of the coffee maker and beer fridge is made official? PS: 'Clear watchlist' .. best damn change since time immemorial.
noooo! I don't like inter-office politics, we're all working towards the same goal, making EVE better for everybody and I think it's better if we do so as a "team" even though we're not on the same team, know what I mean?
karkur and I talk alot about the little things we're implementing and consult each other and it's much better that way CCP Punkturis | EVE UI Developer | @katrinat |

Thank you CCP Punkturis! I'm sure seeing the date is a trivial thing to those of you who live in the same time zone as the EVE server, but for those of us in the rest of the world, it can get confusing. Opening up the calendar is not an optimal solution, especially when it worked fine for years the way it was. Thanks for some fantastic improvements :)
Any chance of getting an Alliance option in the right click auto link menu? Character and Corp are already there.
thank you
I'll note down your request and see if I can do something about it later! CCP Punkturis | EVE UI Developer | @katrinat |

An Option would be nice in watchlist to show %values and/or real values of the shields etc. (also for targets)
Ok now. Punkturis clearly for the win. I hope everyone in CCP knows, that you are the reason for 1/4 subscribed accounts :D
I really want to do this, and thank you for the kind words, really really appreciated :3 CCP Punkturis | EVE UI Developer | @katrinat |

I don't think I implemented it that way but that would be a super good idea and I should make it so! CCP Punkturis | EVE UI Developer | @katrinat |

Zedrik Cayne wrote:Hi CCP Punkturis, got a request from the web developers out here...can we pretty pretty please get CCPEVE.setDestination() for the IGB to set destinations to stations as well as solarsystems?
We were so happy and overjoyed when we could set destination in game to a station. But the IGB apparently did not get the memo. Any chance of that poking its head up in a nearby sprint? I've forwarded this suggestion to the developers responsible for the autopilot feature. Erlendur S. Thorsteinsson Software Director EVE Online, CCP Games |

Example: http://i.imgur.com/Qahn0.pngUsing the link generator, the hyperlink ends up being http://https://www.google.com/ You end up copy + pastaing the link anyways, why should we have to remote the http:// in order for it to work? or better yet, allow us to just simply highlight + rightclick text and create a hyperlink instead, rather than having to go through a clumsy link generator menu. Made this in the other thread for CCP karkur if you could try and make it happen. :) Bloodpetal wrote:Alright, I have a SUPER TEENY TINY LITTLE MINISCULE INCONCEIVABLY Small suggestion :
If you right click on your ship / capacitor you can "Add Location" and open the "create a bookmark" window without needing to go through people and places.
This would save me a bit of trouble with always needing to switch to the people and places tab whenever i need to drop bookmarks. It's available on objects in space for the most part, so why not on your own ship representing your own location?
Thanks! Believe or not but CCP karkur and CCP Punkturis are on speaking terms... Erlendur S. Thorsteinsson Software Director EVE Online, CCP Games |
