Edited by: Nikita Alterana on 23/06/2008 18:47:04 I like the current FW, make no mistake of that, however as it stands it seems very limited. The war could be made a lot bigger.
Allow the invasion and occupation of highsec When an entire region is occupied make it switch sovereignty Make NPC battles Make FW missions better (they need a reward increase of about 150% (rough number) to make it worth the risk increase) Burn planets destroy stations hit enemy capital ships Make news reports and the storyline affected by player actions blast a trail of destruction across enemy space leaving wreckage in their wake make the factions have enough ships to make them really as strong as they claim, I want to see huge NPC fleet battles over enemy homeworlds, there is so much more factional warfare could be, cause basically, right now its just a glorified game of capture the flag. __________________________________________________ |

We'll probably see some of those changes in the future, this expansion was CCP's first go at it, they're seeing how it evolves then they'll add new features to it, hopefully.

Pretty much yeah, but people seem to enjoy it anyway. Apparently improvements are coming 'soon.' With mission rewards, I think CCP was cautious because they didn't want to make FW just one more thing to farm.

Could this possibly be because it's the FIRST version of FW to hit TQ and NOT the FINAL product?

also outside of militia's FW means absolutely nothing to the rest of us, well perhaps more turn over for the markets but thats a side effect not a direct one.
Invasion of high sec... pointless cus its going to have no affect the security of the system won't be changed. What is switching sovereignty gonna do nothing. NPC fleet battles.... thats just needless eye candy and server lag, look what a single fake caldari titan did. Increasing mission rewards cus of fw... right so that unbalances the game for certain people in a certain militia. Burn planets....Pointless Destroy stations.... not gonna happen simply because you have to track everything associated with that station and move it elsewhere when its destroyed. Your hitting enemy capitals already News is already affect by player actions just tends to be a delayed response due to the human factor ...we've just rolled into the realm of fiction at this point ------------------------------------------ Sig removed as it lacks EVE-related content. The great thing about FW is that it can easily be expanded, especially with more factions.
For example; a "civil war" between the Khanid Kingdom and the Amarr. - - - - - - - - -

Edited by: Artemis Rose on 23/06/2008 20:01:18 There is a huge amount of FW content, but its hard to find it smashing big blobs into other big blobs. You have ENTIRE regions to play in, not just a handful of hot spots. __________________________________________________

Oh yeah? judging from the militia stats and how badly Caldari and Amarr are getting owned by Gal/Min, it would be just a matter of time until Jita is taken by by our side if things would be as suggested by you...
I'll grant the Amarr being outnumbered, but fighting caldari must be the most target-rich environment ever - by far the worst k/d ratio of all militias - have to go to back rise sometime, blobbing Amarr gets boring...
