I've looked and the best Armor repair I've found and is on the market is the Meditation Armor repair. Any thoughts from any one.

It's a gallente Cosmos mission reward. You get 2, not sure there's another way to get them besides buying someone elses.

Don't they rep more but take longer to rep?
EFT tells me I get the same DPS repaired over a given amount of time... ---

They are awesome. I used one on my mission running hurricane way back when I was running lvl 3's for income in my first few months of playing. Made tanking easy, is the reasonn why I put t2 hardeners off until literally last minute. Faction shineys do evil things to skill planning

Right so I did a little research of my own. Some market snooping, stat comparison, a little contract espionage and I strongly disagree with the OP.
The 'Meditation' Medium Armor Repair I is sub-par to a faction Medium Armor Repairer. Not only does it cost more on contracts than a True Sansha Medium Armor Repairer, but it takes roughly 13-seconds to repair 360HP. Where-as, the TS Medium Armor Repairer repairs 360HP/12 seconds.
The TS is cheaper, has repairs more over time, and sounds cooler.
I'll stick with faction. ~Solo Hoist The Colors. (CEO) |

Well the fitting is a tad better but ... if you need to resort to that and are having that type of CPU/PG restraints, perhaps it's time you train WU to V and AWU to V as well. ~Solo Hoist The Colors. (CEO) |

All Cosmos Items are Effectivly Tech II mods, without the skill requirements, or fitting needs (although the Turrets usually have some other weird stats, optimal and falloff etc)
when youve got WU to V and AWU to V and Engineering v, and your still trying to squeeze a bigger cap battry, 1 last turret, or another repairer on, COSMOS mods are all there
<----- anyway, Ships and module forums are that way

If its activation time wasn't so poor, it would be really awesome... which is why its activation time is so poor. We can't have COSMOS stuff encroaching on Complex mods, apparently. Excellent fitting req's though.

This repper has the say armour repped per second as a t2 MAR. just easier on cap and fittings.
on my old chr i used 2 of these with ANP II's and used it for my mission running ship for angel cartel. it handled all missions well.

Those are what make dual rep neutrons Astarte possible, not even AWU5 is enough. -- I'm done whining about AFs, it looks like they are making them right \o/ |

Yep, although dual-rep Neutron 'Starte fits fine with a faction repper and doesn't need the COSMOS fitting requirements. You need one PG rig either way, unless I'm much mistaken.

They're awesome for looting off victims and selling to future victims. I got two of those out of a Hurricane 1v1 relatively recently, nice stuff Sig removed, inappropriate link. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] ~Saint |

Slight offtopic:
I used a cosmos module only once. Had a super tight Pilgrim fit, i was 1 grid over the max. So i sawpped one of the small neuts for a 'caltrop' neut and voila, it all fit.
So yeah, most of the times T2/faction is better than cosmos, but there are funny moments when that one less grid will make your setup work.
Cosmos guns are weird. I know that cosmos lasers have less optimal than T2 and falloff is not exactly the thing i'm looking for in lasers.
I've heard that cosmos reppers are good on ships with a rep bonus, it makes them rep more thatn t2/low end faction.

I will put 2x rep amount instead of acr and kill your astarte (also 7x neutrons are bad idea anyways, mix neutrons and ions).

Meditation repper saves fitting and cap use, it's repair amount is more but because its duration is longer it repairs the same amount as a tech II over time but uses less cap. Only usefull if you're trying to make a setup cap stable or really need the extra fitting room.

it doesn't look cool, when all your guns don't fire at the same moment.
