No, not possible, because that is the way fullscreen works, try doing it in any other game, you'll lose the fullscreen the second you click in the second screen

I ran to this issue my self year ago or so, and i think with windows only solution is to run the accounts in windowed mode, but in full screen resolution.
Not sure if linux is smarter/better with the dual monitor setups, perhaps some of the linux gurus could answer that :)

Uh what exactly is the problem running it in windowed mode?
The only difference between having it windowed and full-screen mode IS THE ABILITY TO MOVE THE CURSOR SEEMLESSLY TO ANOTHER APP |

The only difference between having it windowed and full-screen mode IS THE ABILITY TO TAKE EXCLUSIVE CONTROL OF THE GPU AND PROVIDE MANY MORE ACCELERATION FUNCTIONS

While it is impossible to run two clients both fullscreen on two monitors at the same time - I use Gamers Window Relocator which is as good as two fullscreens. Works a treat.
Just make sure you set eve to the same resolution as the monitor you're wanting it to run on. |

So you think its possible for two applications to have 'exclusive control' of a GPU? Me thinks you should look up the definition of exclusive? |

He's saying its not possible to take exclusive control in windowed mode, which is correct. And that it is possible (for a single instance of the game) in full screen, also correct.
Currently the only way to achieve what the OP wants is with two PC's, or perhaps a single highly specified machine running VM's (untested).

I use two clients on two screens, i use windowed mode and drage the top visable windows bar at the top (click at the lowest piont on the bar and move up)
Been doing this for 3 years and im very used to it, i get 25% or better frames per sec on the active screen.
There are programs available that will move the eve windows to the preset, but i have to say once you get used to doing the move-bar-bit its a doddle.

I used to run 2 accounts on full screen mode, and occasionally the PC would lock up and need a reset when I tabbed between the 2.
Haven't had any issues since I started running them windowed.

EVEMover: http://eve.j-e-b.net/evemover
Does exactly what you want. Two fullscreen (even if set to window mode) Eve clients, and free mouse. Plus, when running only one client you can use the second screen normally. ______

What about if you have two graphics cards? say you have crossfire and deactivate it and set one adapter to one screen and the other to the second screen and change the settings in the client determining which adapter it uses? |

Two PC's with synergy is win. Dunno of another way to make use of fullscreen on two instances.
Havent had two video cards for a long time but back then the drivers & windows made the whole functionality and fullscreen possibilities just like those of a second screen. -----
