Same here. I've remapped Quit to option-Q. If the chat window has focus, it puts a special character in the text field and doesn't quit. If (I believe) ANY window has focus, nothing happens. You have to click on space or out in the general dock/ha...

Did both verify and repair disk and permissions, no avail. Ended up reinstalling Snow Leopard off the CD (and so I need to download a million updates, now), which "fixed" the issue. Man. Never had software bork my computer like this before. Hoping...

FWIW, if someone sends you a mail, and the little popup You Have New Mail appears in the top left of the screen, if you click on that popup, the mail they sent opens just fine (in its own window).

FWIW, doing a mission and having browser up, client froze, then reported it had lost connection and quit (no crash reporter). I started the client back up, prefs are nuked (EULA again, intro movie, etc.), I'm still in my ship, drones still connect...

Same issue. Re-downloaded the whole game from the Eve main page. Haven't had a problem yet (but only played it one day since), except now I have the mail issue. I can use mail services from Eve-Gate, however. Irritating to lose all your preference...
