Issue seems to be fixed after downtime, not sure if it was the various workarounds or something clicked after the servers came back up, thanks to everyone for your tips and tricks :)

I don't mind that it disconnects, this occasionally happens with online games, but i WILL be annoyed if i lose my mael and get the usual "Our logs show nothing" crap...
