1. API server is hosed. Please reboot. Plus: book recommendation - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Wondered why the number of processed tasks flatlined for me today. Oh well, guess now is a good time to test that my code is catching errors correctly during a outage

2. Dust 514 and API - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
This was sort of touched on at the FF2012 dev track, the old API won't be updated but CREST will be used for DUST players. Infact, at the moment the MPT forums use CREST to authenticate you.

4. [SSCWRT] School of Space Combat Warfare Ratting Tracker - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
I don't get what this offers over what is available already on Dotlan, infact Dotlan is great for identifying popular clusters of ratting space just by looking at the map. Interesting idea for a site, its just missing a USP at the moment. [Edi...

5. Send EVE mail using API? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
I'd love CCP to give a official method of sending EVEMails, it would make things a lot easier for various tools I've made. Even if it had a hard rate limit, or even charged a CSPA fee per message i'd use it.

9. Locations.xml.aspx - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
I get the feeling the API support site hasn't been updated, no reference of the limited/extended MemberTracking API endpoints either. This is going to be a large pain in my side until it is sorted.

10. Fanfest devtrack and 3rd party dev drinks - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
The Devtrack last year was informative, i'd love to see it return for 2012. Maybe a session called "3rd Party Devs tell CCP their ideal API endpoints", i'm sure a few of us could go on all day

11. POS Tracker - FGV - 5.1.6 - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Still lots of calls to mysql_query in the production side of the POS class and related php scripts in the 5.2 standard install, need modifying to $dbconn->Execute format before they'll work.

12. EVE Alerter (Rally your troops!) - Beta testers needed - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Interesting idea. It would be nice to have a API that people can poke to add/remove people from the notification list, that way corp/alliances with existing access management systems could work without everyone having to readd their API keys to an...

14. Is CCP going to fix this or not? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Or at least confirm if its supposed to be like that. As I said in the other thread the extra nulls after each character looks like its some sort of untagged unicode output, might be worth trying to force it through conversion and see if it clears...
