1. Rev3 Jump Logistics - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
ok... updated with the proper jump math... Here is an example of how I figured the fuel costs The Rorqual uses 1,000 iso per light year, minus 400 for Jump Fuel Conservation 4. The Tech 2 Fenrir uses 2,700 isop per light year. At rank 4 of jump ...

also... i just checked... the fuel efficiencies for the jump freighters will be worse. Jump Fuel Conservation reduces the fuel cost by 100 per level. In my math I treated it as a percent reduction, not as a flat value. This will make the jump frei...

the problem becomes keeping the rorqual functional for its task I remember reading a goldbar text when the rorqual was first introduced, he explained that it was envisioned that the rorqual would jump to a system with 4 hulks, they would mine, it...

i wonder if it is to late to make radical design changes 1) Reduce carrier drone bay by a factor of 5, reduce fighter size by a factor of 5 2) add 50% range to capital remote hull reppers to all 4 carriers 3) add +10% drone/fighter hitpoint per le...

It is only double the capacity of the Rorqual (Rorqual with t2 rigs vs perfect Tech 2 Charon) 144,213.53 m3 usable cargo space vs 286,751.25 m3 usable space for 2.475 times the fuel cost. and that requires getting two very long skills to a 5 (fr...

while a boost to jump range would be nice, I don't think it is "needed". A cyno network built for dreads and jump freighters can also service carriers, so it ends up being more flexible. Most people who want the longer range want to use their exis...

If they changed the two bonuses on the jump freighter... 5% jump range and 10% fuel conservation, then while the Rorqual would be good, the jump freighter would be an obvious better choice. Kind of a starter hauler for the smaller 0.0 alliances an...
