There were rumors about a Navy Version of the Abaddon some time ago when the Drifters invaded the Amarr Empire. But i think pushdogg is right, most certanly it refers to the new Force Auxiliary ships (Capital Logis).

I don't think they will do that, the 1st person view with the HUD is more a cosmetic gimmick. It's quite good for bumping, but for anything else it's not very useful. But why not, depends a bit how much work they have to put into that to change it...

The "Bodyguard" ability in DaoC only protects you from melee damage and doesn't give you the sort of "get-out-of-jail" card you propose. It would be a gamebreaker. But the concept of Remote Resistance Hardeners was allready floating arround here ...

I would rather put the alt into a second pve ship and finish the sites faster than using a salvage ship. Loot can be scoped with Mtu's while you are allready in the next site.
