Thing is, in real life the bigger the missile the bigger the motor and so the faster it travel - usually anyway. The big missiles have to cover longer ranges, and so need to do so a lot faster. Torps are a special case, they should be slow, power...

The Caracal is an excellent NPC-killing ship. I've got a corp mate who's got a rail-armed Ferox Battlecruiser and when we go hunting he always ends up coming back with all the damage - yet I always have the most kills! For fighting other cruisers...
