This issue also seems to occur if you move your mouse to the top right corner of the screen and move it around in that corner?! This acts as the above problem, not sure if its the same bug though.

Same problem, was not aware of this issue and got into a bit of trouble when my logistics ship couldn't warp to member :) did make it out though but could have ended up an expensive way of figuring out. yes its very annoying.

clear the eve cache. while eve might be a newly installed client, the cache is stored in another folder than eve it self. (experienced exactly the same problem, and clearing the cache fixed it for me)
