Check to make sure your CPU and power supply fans are actually working. If your motherboard/BIOS has a way of measuring the core CPU temperature, check it. 70C would be the absolute limit, but ideally it stays reasonably well under that (below 60...

I'd at least like to know if this is a problem with my computer, or if its a game lag thing. I can't imagine trying to PvP with freezes as frequently as I'm seeing them (thought that's probably a ways off in any case).
