Ikar Kaltin Amarr Imperial Dreams Curatores Veritatis Alliance	Posted - 2009.02.15 23:59:00 - [1] Hi, Im trying to log into sisi, I get the auto prompt telling me to download a new patch, hit download and the result is: The patch was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the file is corrupt. Would you like to download the file again? You will not be able to enter the game until you download the patch. No matter how many times I try to download it again it fails, any suggestions?

Matt G School of Applied Knowledge	Posted - 2009.02.16 00:15:00 - [3] Download it again, put it in a folder such as D:\Downloads\EVE\New Patch. Copy those two files into a folder such as D:\Downloads\EVE\New Patch\Backup. Try to update from D:\Downloads\EVE\New Patch. If it's not successful, copy over the contents of the backup folder. If it is successful, delete the backup folder. I tried mine 4 times, unsuccessful. Then I installed Microsoft Visual Basic and patched again, then it seemed to work. Don't know what the difference was, but saw something on a prior post.

Those files should go into a backup so the 1.3gb file does not get deleted on patch install. Troubleshoot my mind if I sound stupid.
