I just got the game and loaded it up. From the moment I get to the login screen the text is all blurry to the point where I can't read it. Has anyone had this problem. I did the "fixes" that the web site has on file and they didn't work. I played with the mipmaps and updated all drivers and windows. All to no effect. I'm running a Geforce 4 TI 4600. So, far I'm not impressed by the game in the least.

Edited by: NeoMorph on 07/08/2004 05:48:35 Solution:
1. Hit the escape key and go to the Graphics page/tab... 2. In the center of the dialog you will see a slider called "Texel Alignment". 3. Move the slider until the fuzzy text sharpens up.
Job done.
Edit: Just remembered another thing... you need to turn off Anti-Aliasing as that also blurs the text. I have a Ti4600 as well so know your problem. Follow these two fixes and the text is perfect. -------------------------------------------

That didn't fix the problem. I turned off antiliasing and moved the slider all over the place. Didn't do anything. Thanks for trying. I've had the game for 3 days now and haven't been able to do squat! I've successfully been ****ed off! That is about it.

Try using the 53.03 nVidia driver. The newer ones are known to be causing blurry texts

Edited by: Scorpyn on 09/08/2004 10:10:25 There is a d3d setting for different kinds of graphics qualities (in windows display properties, not ingame). It has to be set to maximum quality, or the text will blur.
(edit : spelling)

... or use "application default" if your driver has a such thing. At least it works for the ati drivers. (it get's blurry if you turn things towards "more quality").
