The "Coalition" couldn't finish the job in NOL or the QY6 constellation because of cynosural jammers, jump bridges and the "Six Pack Titan Stack." When BoB did that, they said, "we're simply better than you." Now without cyno jammers or jump bridges, they are lost at sea. I remember back in 2007 in Tenerifis when BoB was throwing around their grand total of TWO titans (consisting of Shrike and Orange Species), nuking everything from battleship fleets to single frigates. Good times. When BoB did that, they said, "adapt to the game mechanics or die." Then they lost Shrike when the game mechanics changed. I remember way back in 2006 in Syndicate, when GoonSwarm failed to take Cloud Ring. BoB came in and killed a bunch of our cruisers and frigates with T2 battleships. They lorded this victory over us like they had achieved something great. When BoB did that, they said, "the goons 0.0 dream is over." Then we built the largest empire in the history of the game. So how many times are you, the CAOD reader, gonna listen to BoB (or, in this case, KenGoku) before you realize that everything they say turns out to be false with just the slightest wind of change? How long before you realize that the age of BoB ended not a couple of weeks ago, but in 2006, when they first began their long list of lies and propaganda? Think about it.

Posted - 2009.02.16 16:48:00 - [18] Sounds like someone was keeping a Journal that has been soaking in tears since 2006 Have you been carrying this torch for that long It seems to me that there are actually about 50 people in this game that really give a sh*t about what goes on in EVE while another 30,000 that log in to shoot stuff. Most have fought over the years for either "side" and it goes back and forth Its the guys like you that get all swept up in the history like a kid that got picked on in the playground when he was 12 and now had his nuts drop at 16 and wants revenge Good luck with that....

Indeed goons are failing at their invasion. Form up your capfleet and enter into delve for easy goon kills.

That was some pretty broken game mechanics. I admit though, every one of these gloat posts is soiled by the simple fact that the only reason BoB is struggling now is due to out of game diddling. Killing BoB was a good and worthy goal. You've got forty bazillion guys to do it, so even under the old mechanics with enough time and effort it was a doable task. But now no matter what or who you kill, it is always tainted. Anyways, carry on.
