Hello, I am interested in rook setup for solo work. Yes there are other ships, yes the Falcon is nice to but at the moment I am just looking for solo rook ship setups and advice.
My experience so far is alot of waiting for a target, scram, jam and fire. Sadly for me the target always deagresses before it dies and can warp out using the gate. Or I try to fight one target and get jumped by another and can not dps both before I have to warp away because of drones. Normally I only agree cruisers/destroyers/frigates.
Obviously there are problems here.
My setup is. With various interesting names and T2.
5 Heavy Missile launcher
3 ECM
1 Sensor booster
1 Warp disruptor
1 Target Painter
1 Large Shield extender
2 ECM amplifiers
1 Inertia stab/overdrive
Also I relise this is the eve forums so I hope the constructive people that exist here outnumber the trolls and I have some worthwhile help to look forward to reading.

I'd tank you then eat you alive as soon as you miss a Jam. At least that's what I did to the last rook using Multispecs, so do not use Multis 
Or... people will just outrun you because you don't have a MWD. I did run into a MWD'ing Blackbird that tried to gank my Sleipnir under sentry fire in lowsec, anti-pie would probably be your best bet, but again you have to make sure your target is jammed or you will melt to EM damage. Sentries giving you an extra 300 DPS should help though
I wasn't sure on putting extender rigs or dispersion augmentors, but this might work...

I heard you are not allowed to solo in caldari ships?
