Hi all,
I'm a new adult player from the west coast of America and I'm looking for a corporation to join. I have an Amarr military toon named "Omnipitous", with about 5mil SP: most in learning, gun. and frigate. I'm looking for a corporation with room in its mail room for a trainee. I look forward to meeting you all in my travels through the universe.

I didn't know what exactly you were looking to train in... so I will just send you the recruiting message we just came up with.

Hi Omnipitous,
Not sure exactly what you are looking for, but what our corp does is pirate and manufacture. We are looking for newer players that we can teach and train up into a nice fighting force (with strong manufacturers backing us), so if PvP or manufacturing is what you're looking for, you should fit right in.

Hello Omnipotus,
I am Thornhale of Iunctus Validus [IVAL] and like you I am a new player - probabaly even newer than you since I only have 2 mio sp. I hope my newishness in the game does not give me less credit for the corporation as I am also IVAL's new recruitment officer. And this is the reason I am writing you tonight. Earlier a friend came by this thread and told me to look at this thread. So I am now contacting you in hopes that you might be interested in joining our corporation.
Our corporation is new with only 9 members in it. Despite the fact that it is new, 6/9 members are veteran players who have joined the game for more than 4 years. We are also part of an established alliance - The Blackguard Alliance - which has a 0 sec presence and does a lot of PvP. You might wonder how I (<- inexperienced player) fit into this group of veterans?
Tonight, I am writing you though because [Iunctus Validus] is looking for mature, calm yet energetic players that have the "corp-building" character in them, players that take pride in building something new, and like making a difference - in other words players with initiative. That's how I got into this corporation. I started with a 2-week trial period, and then got invited to [IVAL] who have been very helpful in getting me acquainted with the game and also very generous in their monetary support. Just a few weeks ago, [IVAL] needed help with recruitment. And since I have done some recruitment in The ARKANGELS (a GW guild), I thought I could help make the corp better.
I don't write mass invitations. Rather I look at the posts and look at the content. In your case, I like that you write in full, complete sentences with no apparent spelling error. This indicates that you are a mature player. I also like that you are from the West Coast. I myself am from there :-) So you fulfill 2 out of 3 criteria. If you like being in a smaller but energetic upstart corporation, I would warmly like to invite you to consider us.
Perhaps some details would be good at this time:
- We have very close ties to members in our alliance.
- There are alliance-wide PvP ops in our alliance.
- We are gearing up for PvP by building our own units for the alliance.
- If you more into PvE, we do do missions together.
- Our headquarters are in Stacmon V - Moon 9 - Federation Navy Assembly Plant which is Minmatar space.
- Although we live in Minmatarian Space though members from all races are welcome.
- There is generous help to new players available.

Depending on where your flying takes you, PINTO might be a good place to call home. We're a friendly helpful group, with a lot of experience and we're free with the advice.
We're primarily an industrial corp, but run missions a lot as well.
We've got no scheduled mandatory anything, so you are free to experience Eve how you want to experience it.
