If your ship is destroyed by someone your corp is at war with NO insurrance is payed out.

only if you are the aggressor, otherwise the griefing ability of a large corp on a small corp would be too great. i know this doesnt happen alot, but it would be an issue if megacorp A declared war on tinycorp B and tinycorp b only has cruisers and barely the money for those. then megacorp could annilihate tinycorp, and tinycorp would be broke since they didnt get insurance.
personally i dont really care for the corp war system, just because its not very realistic. imagine coke and pepsi employees in a shootout in a big city, and the cops just watching because their employees were in a legal war with each other. but thats just my opinion, so it dont matter .
