This downloaded really fast and started, but after selecting the SiSi installation directory the "Next" button was still disabled. I downloaded the patcher again from the web site, same behaviour.
I then used the direct link to the RTP supplied by the forum, put the RTP into the EVE_SiSi folder and stepped back and forward in the Installer again. The patcher immediately started the installation without going through the "Ask for path" window opening again, deleted the RTP file and started downloading it again. This process failed when the file was 250M big.
Edit: Manually re-downloading the RTP fails as well although the file still seems to be present. Edit 2: putting a 0 byte RTP file into the installation directory enables the "Next" button, but the download fails with "There was a temporary error downloading the required files". The error seems to be pretty persistant though.

ISSUE: Logging into station with a black screen.
WORKAROUND: In the options menu, assign a hotkey to the 'Exit Station' command. This will let you undock, and then you should be able to play normally.

Characters are losing massive amounts of skillpoints. From what I've heard, they're suspecting that if you log in a T3 ship that this happens. -----

- Bloom and Shadow strength/quality menus are missing. This is, frankly, unacceptable.
- Other people's warps can be seen, making undocking in FD- something only for the strong.
- When uncloaking, guns fully appear before the ship has even started fading in.
- Leaving a Strategic Cruiser with turrets fitted and then going back into it while docked will cause the game to drop all the highslot modules in hangar, but hardpoints used on ship remain unchanged -> no weapons can be fitted, subsystems cant be changed. Workardound: repackage and reassemble ship.
- Engine trails don't work.
- Gids icons (ships etc) show as '!'
- When ejecting form/boarding a ship in space, shield hp skills aren't applied correctly, meaning shield hp will be missing 5-25% depending on skills.
- After firing turrets for a while, turret effects stop showing correctly - muzzle flashes still show, but projectile/beam effects are missing or ony show for part of the animation cycle.
... and I really think they should boost T2 plate HP.

ISSUE: Skill Queue is still broken. Skills get stuck at "Completion Immiment" and the queue needs to be cleared and the skills re-added for them to finish. WORKAROUND: As above.
ISSUE: "Train skill to level x" is missing from the character sheet. WORKAROUND: Use the Queue instead.
ISSUE: New warp effect does not go away when the ship comes out of warp. WORKAROUND: Docking fixed it, but if you can't dock then you're screwed.

The queue works for me. Trained 3 skills for me last night.

I had lots of problems trying to patch from 77718 to 79298
I have a fairly new Sony Laptop running Vista Home Premium and have not had problems patching Eve in the past.
Firstly the auto update failed to work it downloaded a file that was 704kb that gave an error message that the file was corrupted and it would have to download it again, this kept repeating.
So I manually downloaded the required files as instructed in the original op. Now when the I ran the exe file, it locates the patch file correctly and states it is checking the checksum. The computer then just hangs, even trying 'ctrl' 'alt' 'del' fails to run task manager to close the patch program. This happened twice, I had to reset the computer each time, which meant checkdisk had to run to check for lost files etc. 
Have the patching issues been resolved, before I attempt to patch from 77718 to 80418.

Patching was fine here, all 3 times. Maybe it's you're computer/internet that's corrupting the downloads and crapping out verifying the file.
You might wanna try recopying your TQ folder over your SiSi one and patching from that.

Issue: Queue seems broken, I put skills in overnight for a total of well over 24 hours (the last skill being a ~2 day skill), when I logged on this morning they were all completed, including the 2 day one.

Probes don't move anymore. When clicking "Scan" they start scanning right away, on the place I dropped them. Assigning shortkey to undock from station sorted my station loading problems. I don't see my ship (helios). Starmap loading loop happens everytime. No sound. No Scene2 selection / deselection.
Can't be arsed to bugreport, this is just the things that made it impossible to test anything. I'll wait for a new patch.

A few nice and shiny effects in this patch but too many bugs to bother testing. Will wait for next client. Probes, map, hdr, it's almost as if there isn't a bug somewhere... you forgot to patch.

I just patched my SiSi build but i cant seem to load into the system, cleared cache allrdy.
Your character is located within Grispire, which is currently stuck. Please select a different character or try later.
This has been so for the last 5 minutes.

ISSUE: when I undock cant see my ship, everything else is loaded by my ship. Can see ship fine in station.
tried with settings at max and default, old gfx drivers and just updated them, problem is still there. ________________________________________________________

1. Transactions in wallet dont work, it just stalls and nothing shows up
2. Cap on strategic cruisers sometimes gets messed up. It says that there is 0 cap so you cant warp or use modules. I had to eject from my ship in order to get back to the station in my pod.
3. Market wasnt working this morning. Nothing I bought would show up. I waited for over 20 minutes and I still didnt get what I bought from the market. Not sure if it is EXTREME lag or if it just isnt working right now.
Comment on Strategic Cruisers:
These ships are going to be horribly expensive, and while they are cool they arent any better than HAC's, in fact they are worse because they get no inherent bonuses. A zealot or sacrilage could easily waste a SC that may cost 5 times as much. You may want to rethink giving these ships bonuses to make them worth the cost.

AFAIK the bonuses are part of balancing, which hasn't been done yet. I'm sure they're coming Soon.

I'm stuck in the "entering station" black screen when I try to log my main. AGAIN. I suspect it has something to do with the loading of the T3 cruiser I have as active ship.
With the previous version desactivating premium content to reactivate it later was a workaround. What now? ------------------------------------------

ò My local window doesn't appear after login... jumping brings it back (not undocking). ò My "Buy This" window has no button for buying, and pressing enter doesn't work. ò My 'Selected Object' window never contains options for the selected object, it says "No Object Selected" with a picture of the object I have selected xD Have to use the right click menu to perform actions.

Same as another, I cannot toggle the map so that I can scan systems, it sticks at Intitializing map and when you escape out of it, modles disappear.
Also: First startup character screen won't display. And modules wont' stay on T3 ships (as explained in other posts). Saw another glitch where disconnecting in T3 ships causes massive amounts of skillpoints to disappear. (as in millions).
Also: Cloaking graphics are bugged, ship does not cloak, it just look slike it's getting electracuted... :) Oh **** IT'S A TARP! |

Edit: I have deleted the complete settings and cache folders, had to sign the EULA again, got the intro and am still stuck :P

Issue: Scanprobes are not automaticly warping to their new locations
(Note: This was present in the last patch but more people are noticing it now because the probe UI got refreshed. The workaround worked for me prior to the current patch but hasn't been tested in the new one).

Chars stuck here too. One is in station and won't log in. Another logged in for some time, then got stuck in a jumpgate ans sinc then it won't log in anymore...
Oh, well, this is the point of a test server. Just don't you dare to let those bugs leak on TQ. :-)
