Putting down a POS in w-space then finding it again in 1 of 2499 unnamed unlabled and unmapped starsystems should be an interesting task
w-space the abandoned POS graveyard
lol You're doing it wrong. You don't have to go searching through 2499 systems. WH are two way. This has been discussed extensivly in the first WH dev blog thread.
lol no you're doing it wrong, wormholes are only open for a limited time and once that wormhole closes in that n-space system your going to have to hope another wormhole opens to another empire system otherwise your screwed. I don't think <insert unfriendly alliance> are gonna be too happy when you try to open up a logistics supply line through thier space. If your really unlucky the next w-hole might just open up to another w-space system. So yeah 1 in 2499 chance is about right if a little optimistic.
This has been discussed extensivly in the W-space dev blog and on the forums REPEATEDLY, pay attention and stop trying to be a smart arse and think before you post.

No you're doing it wrong. Taken from the big dev blog thread.
Stick head out WH. Does it lead to 0.1 or higher empire. If so refuel. If not. Crash WH. Find new WH, all W-space systems have a worm hole at all times. Repeat.
You only need to do this once every two weeks with a small POS. If you have a hanger array you can get away with doing it less often.
Go read the thread.

The best part about WH will be the new targets that you will run upon. Instead of roaming 0.0 space where no one is you can goto 2499 WH where carebears think they are safe cause there are 2499 of them and you can get pretty easy loot. Who in thier right mind would got low sec and pirate cause they can just dock up or leave. In WH they only have one way out and as long as your 20 man squad is there they aint going anywhere.

When you try to collapse a w-hole, how do you prevent the w-hole to close behind you, when you left the system the pos is in? How do you prevent the collapse after you got your stuff out? Or are you only bringing stuff into w-space and not trying to make a profit? What happens if there isn't a w-hole to k-space the next 4 weeks after you set your pos up?
Still, I certainly like people to try... and in a few years other peole can rediscover what was left behind by the first tries

From what the devs have said, you will know how long until a wormhole will close naturally and how much mass it'll take to collapse it. As for no wormhole back to empire for a month, stockpile resources.
It seems like it will truely be the wilderness. Don't know if you'll be able to get the resources in 2 weeks? Bring 4 weeks worth of resources.
Sig is now EVE related. Happy mods?

Indeed. Industrials are cheap to buy and fast to train so no reason not to have all your pilots bring along one and abandon them in the pos shield as makeshift storage that won't take up the pos module capacity. Need some more fuel just board one and transfer it out.
Yay! Got meh sig back! ♥ Weatherman |

That's a fictional case you made up and not a valid concern. If you can crash WH at will then it should never be 4 weeks.
Even if it is. With one WH you can get months of fuel through. Haulers have very small mass.
