Coming in late into the game has meant that the KenZoku have missed the responsibility that comes with being a 0.0 alliance.
Historically, in eve, wars have been fought over a single incorrect comment to the wrong person. This is why most 0.0 alliances have control of their members. They understand that in order to hold space you need to be respectful of everyone else in eve or you will run into trouble.
KenZoku have come into 0.0 and made the exact mistakes that everyone else has.... only we did it 3 years ago and learnt from our mistakes.
Now they find themselves with nothing but NPC stations and no 0.0 industrial base.
They believe this is funny due to their complete and utter lack of any foresight into the game, they live for the here and now with no regards to the future.
And of course that is perfectly fun way to play... if you don't want to have any 0.0 industrial base in the future.
Personally, if I was KenZoku, I would be waking up to the realisation that regardless of my big words about how they do what they want and play how they want and have lots of fun, they are still going to be dictated how they play by other alliances in 0.0 space.
And that's the beauty of eve.
I think they went wrong when an ex director joinked their alliance.... you won, stop spinning.
I can't decide what is greater at this point:
- your ignorance of our background. - your hate of our alliance. - your distance from the topic.
Either way, take your Goon hating into a clean thread and leave this one for a discussion of KenZoku as per OP.

No, I don't think there's any confusion about who is doing most of the work in Delve. Goonfleet have towered up a bigger constellation / more station systems than anyone, they've sieged more towers than anyone else, and they have better logistics in place (as far as I can tell) than anyone else. Even if you look at our killboard, you can see it's goonfleet leading the way this week:
Quote: 1.Drexeh 127,501 2.Xiut 124,500 3.Yaacov121,502 4.HimmelVogel120,002 5.Ghitza117,002 6.Rapturea 112,500
You're trying to create resentment where there is none; I don't think anyone truly cares about a certain alliance not pulling their weight or getting more than they deserve. At the end of the day, BoB is dead and that's all that matters. The details can be figured out later. ---

I'm so confused. Everytime I read a thread here it seems like goons are destroying many ken and gbc ships. Yet when I surfed some of the killboards of tbc it seems to tell a different story? I know that an upstanding alliance like goons would never knowingly inflate reports to make themselves look better than they are, so can someone explain to me how this works? Is this what they call meta-gaming?

You sit there one minute and chest beat about taking d-3. Which you didn't btw. Then call it all just a stupid space game when you get panned all over the place by players with more talent than you could ever hope for, be it us, MM, Razor, GS, TCF, KIA, ZAF, SOT. Make up your mind.
The only people that will side with you are the dross that gets thrashed by everyone on a daily basis for ****s & giggles anyways. Lets look at the sinking ship that is AXIOM; oooops, where have all your corps gone? or the mighty EXE alliance, who actually ended up taking down their POS as opposed to even trying to defend them when GS whooped them silly in esoteria. Then again, you know all about that.
At the very least, i thank you for the target practice. What little there is of that. All of a sudden it seems every Kengoku seems to like playing on their empire mission running alt char as opposed to using their main to scrap. You forum posture by saying that you will deal with us in your home systems, yet we see nothing of you. You say you don't care about throwing away ships, yet you run like *****es 99/100. You declare empire war on us, and we see nothing (oh boi, i can't wait for the 'hey, but we ganked one of you once!' replies). Nothing coherent at all.
You loosers are easily the worst fight i've had in 3 years. Well, at least you can't get any worse. 'Kengoku'? Still waiting for that, you haven't even reached 'kenSuperSaiyan' yet, i think 'KenPathetic' is the best you managed so far. And so, another 50 flames shall follow this, with nothing resembling a fight. I'm in PR- atm, find me there.

Who is tbc?
You can check out goonfleet, tcf, mm, razor, and pl killboards - last I checked, they all tell the same story as much as can be expected.
I don't know about kenny's killboard - it has been well known to not show much for losses, but more to the point, it is (was?) having problems due to the BoB disbandment.
As far as I know, all of our killboards are API driven as well.

I've seen the context that you people have tried to use to justify the anime, it's still cartoons. Just because you say it has "eastern-style art" doesn't mean that it has any kind of context to make a difference to US.
If you guys really think you can keep eve seperate from rl with all the politics and oog coordination that goes on then you really are deluded.

DBP annoys me. When he stepped down I thought the Kengoku had turned a corner .. and then he forced his way back.
But, here is what really get me. The Kengoku seem to think that they are somehow better and more important than Eve and its other residents. For example, they think is is okay to have a direct BATPHONE line to the GM's because they are older players, even though they know it is against the rules. That is bad enough, but then they flaunt the fact that they do it, rubbing it in the faces of the people who play within the rules. The Kengoku have no respect for Eve as a game. They don't care how they corrupt what once was, because Eve should be their game. They are like a virus, eating at the very heart of the community at large.
Those who dislike that in them, and point it out, are discredited as the 'new school' trying to rebel against their oppression.
The don't care about Eve and its community, history, or even the setting of the game as a whole. They want to be seperate from the rest of Eve, and that just can't work in the context of a single server universe.
They don't value what we value. They don't want to play Eve fairly. They just want to play their own internet spaceship game with themselves as the gods and the devs in their pocket, and to hell with anyone who wants Eve to be more than that.
When they crossed the line, they defended their right to do so because it was 'normal' for them, and could not (or would not) comprehend why that outraged so many people.
Their loyalty is to themselves, and not to Eve.
They have, however, brought things to a head. The Kengoku's will no longer be allowed to impose their community upon ours. If they won't tolerate us, there is no need for us to tolerate them.
If they don't like the thought that the wishes of our community are every bit as valid as theirs, then tough, move on.

EvE is a community, weve been a tight nit community for years. Made friends and enemies, even made friendships with enemies.
Try actually playing the game KenZoku youll be suprised to find out that this game is about evolving into something bigger then noob chars, try putting effort to work for something. The smaller corps whether they are pirate, pvp or industrial corps, work their asses off ingame to be successful in this game. Its not only the biggest alliances and corps that have success in EvE its also the little guy that actually puts effort in. You should try it, it can be very rewarding.
KenZoku is like the immigrate that wont integrate into the community, they have their own lil community and wont become a part of the current eve community thats been enjoying this game for 3 years. We built this community up, the players. --------------

Yet you see how much of this community DO (and I maintain you DO want to be a part of it, otherwise you'd just leave) object to anime and you still defend it?
Waagaa, I KNOW that kenny WANT to have a presence in eve. Hell, why wouldn't they, it's the best mmo on the market at the moment and has been for about 3 years. But this is NOT 4chan. There has to be a little bit of respect for the community and for the history of eve - when there were no cartoon alliances around, Eve was 6k people PER DAY on a SUNDAY.
What you guys are doing by trying to make people watch dragonball z in such a defiled manner is what I can only imagine would be akin to completely ignoring the profession of Molle without any jokes AT ALL. Can you imagine it?
Ultimately many of the kenny lot seem pretty intelligent, so why they continue to goad and wind up people they WANT to share a community to, when many of you are quite capable of finding SOMETHING ELSE to laugh at, it is alot like you just wanna change everyone and **** the rest.
Well, if that's the case, carry on I guess. If you don't wanna end up with 3k kenny against 18k eve pilots tho I really would suggest you consider what I've said in this post.

Will be interesting to see what happens in the next few months. Perhaps interesting isn't the right word, more like annoying for everyone who isn't already GiNormous.
Goons, NC, PL, etc... will all sit on the remnants of the alliance formerly known as BoB to make sure they can't just reclaim sov and be back in business at full strength. Although some of these groups have short attention spans, winning is good, and this is a great opportunity to win.
BoB at the same time has to play the waiting game and generate opportunities to actually fight and kill effectively without being camped in by way too many guys to deal with. The problem there of course, is that BoB members have historically signed on under the promise of Non-Stop Win. That's a tough promise to live up to while you can't undock or kill because forty bazillion poorly behaved internet kiddies are sitting on you and taunting you in local.
This will get boring to both sides. I predict NC loses interest first and goes off to take some more moons or lord it over some local small alliances.
Then maybe TCF gets sidetracked fighting -A- and has a good rumble there.
Goon participation drops again as things get boring because they're very roller-coaster with their attention. They'll still be around, but it'll be a smaller group.
PL's burning cauldron of hate lingers for a long long time. They'll wait for an opportuity to strike again, though they'll wander off and kill some people in the meanwhile.
Finally BoB gets the opportunity it needs to actually organize a big push and rebirth itself. The questions at this point will be how much manpower and commitment they still have to leverage. Those who joined for quick ego will have wandered off, so it'll be those who most deeply believe the BoB mantra ("we are better") that'll still be there. How many of the leaders and better FCs survived the hibernation? Dunno... will be interesting to find out.
At that point BoB arrives on the scene again in a smaller more focused way and starts killing locals. Whether they have to do it with small focused strikes or big surprise capital assaults remains to be seen, but good times will be had. And the cycle will continue.
Prediction called. Check again in a year.
