He's not the only one. I've made a few threads, replied on a few others, and tried to ask the devs about em. Theres not much info to go by other a few words from a dev awhile back saying mines where suppose to be made more dangerous.
Good news is there are "Bombs" under deployables along with mines now so I guess thats a sign that they aren't totally forgotten. I hope they bring them back real soon, even though now I couldn't even use them as anti-missile flares, but they were still fun....
Although we have heard of stupid haste in war, cleverness has never been associated with long delays. |

Several people in the Gallente Channel believe theyve been turned back on. Havent had a chance to test it myself though
I really hope they put em back in soon. ---------------------------

Edited by: Xavier Arron on 09/08/2004 00:27:12 You can see 4 new mines (one for each dmg type) listed on the market - so it looks like they are being worked on

Those arent mines. Those are bombs, for upcoming bomber frigates.

Mmmmm.. bombs.. reminds me of playing Tie Fighter and having to fly right up on capital ships and drop a bomb at very close range.. I can still remember the sound the bay made when deploying them..
oh, I like the thought of orbiting a battleship in a Tristan and dropping bombs on it.. oh yeh.
