Tyrathect is going to be sold. I can't afford two accounts. I figure he'd be a good starter character. No killrights, no negative standing. He's been tagging along with my main char through level 4 missions and tanking just fine. What do you think he's worth?

Hmmm. So maybe I should start bidding at 1.5B with a buyout of 2.2B? Or would recommend a higher buyout? Anyone else have any thoughts? - I've never sold a character before....

i would say starting bid of 1.5b reserve at 2b and buyout of 2.5b

Does anyone have any recommendation on what skills I should learn with this character prior to selling? Is there anything that makes him a bad bargain? |

probably frig 5 and maybe some more gunnery skills or cruiser 5

others to consider would be evasive maneuvering 5 and able to use t2 weapons would help alot

Thanks, that's very helpful. I won't have time to get cruisers to V, but frig might be doable, as well as some gunnery or evasive manuvering....

I meant, a toon with only 6 mill is worth 1.5-2.5 bill?

At the time, the char was 6.7 million SP.
In my experience, every 4 million SP is worth about 1 billion isk.
My question was whether his particular skills might make him worth more. For example, Minmatar Battleship V is a lengthy skill and is probably worth more to someone so they don't have to wait out that long burn.
I was also looking to see what skills might be worth burning. For example, he recently finished Warp Drive Op V and will complete Minmatar Frigate V in 19 hours....

Thanks for the interest. However, I will not post this char for sale for at least a day. I'd like to finish Minmatar Frig V first, at least. The account doesn't expire for over a week so I could still get some extra training in to make him better.
Any requests on skills desired? |

Not bad starter, would be nice to see more gunnery/missile skills as minm but not bad. Your looking at about 200m /m sp as you can only fly base ships no T2 weapons above small.
look for 1.2 to 1.4bil
It runs about 200m /m sp on starters with basic skills to around 400m /m sp on highly specialized toon.
But, a character is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll have to wait until he has Interceptor skill up to sell him. I'd have thought the BS V would have made him a bit more attractive.
I'll post him for sale in an hour or so and see what he's offered. If not, I'll have to fork out another 300 million isk to get him another 30 days of training....

The BS skill "could" be a selling feature. However considering you have no tech 2 guns, or drones, and the support skills are mediocre at best, it isnt going to net you much worth. The inty won't do you much good either as it isn't a mission running ship, and for pvp you'd need better ewar skills. You are still looking at 200 isk per sp to around 250 for someone who is specifically looking to spend time building up a BS or tackling pilot. Again tho like Reepo said, its worth what someone is willing to pay and you are willing to accept.

Hmm. There doesn't seem to be many interested buyers popping out of the woodwork for this char. WTS Link I might have to keep him another 30 days and continue training. Here's his skills: Tyrathect Skills What do you think would make more sense to train on this guy, since he has Battleship V and some gunnery:
A) Tech II Large Projectile (Large Proj. Turret V)
B) Tech II drones
C) Interceptor and Ewar skills
D) more gunz (rapid fire, motion predic. sharpshooter - V)
E) other? Minmatar Cruiser V?
