There are lots of threads about fitting a crow, many on a taranis and a few on a crusader.
There seems to be a distinct lack of posts regarding the Minmatar inties. Are the claw and stiletto just not very good?
I am planning on training up interceptors and for RP reasons was going to go minmatar. Would I be better off going for a crow/taranis instead?
Thanks

Well I've not flown the others but I love my claw. Even with my skills (still need a few) it can take out 100K agent mission rats without a scratch. I'm still playing with fittings so I'm not sure what is 'best' yet although that really depends on what you want to do with it.
The stiletto is a bit different. It's probably the best EW intercepter out there but I just couldn'y get on with it very well as it foesn't deal much damage. Probably superb for locking things down and calling in your corp mates in thier battleships to finish the job though.
I'm glad I spent those 30 days training for them. In short, if you like the Rifter you will love the claw ===============================================
2004.07.04 20:52:32 combat Your 720mm Prototype I Siege Cannon perfectly strikes Blood Raider, wrecking for 417.6 damage.

Indeed, the minmatar interceptors are capable ships to say the least. I love flying them and even though i have not tried any other interceptor ships i can not imagine that any foreign junk would be better.

I've flown the Stiletto and loved every second of it. True it doesn't pack much of a punch in the firepower department, but it was extremely efficient when it came to locking down other ships (scrambling/webbing).
The 4 medium slots allowed me to take part in some great fights (and some fun gate camping), where as in another ships i would have been much less effective to the overall success of the operations.
Therefore, if you're still a noob like me, get a Stiletto and go out with the big boys and scramble for them. If you REALLY want to taste combat first hand, go for the Claw.
I wouldnt worry about training for another race, I like all the Minmatar ships and don't plan on training for another race for some time.
