Leaving Eve	Posted - 2009.02.19 21:28:00 - [1] I wondered today, that if Chribba had not graced the Eve universe with his EVE Search site, would an effort have been made to improve the forum search and features? It's great Chribba did these sites (I would actually like to sit down with the guy for a few hours and talk code) but, do CCP think "well, actually there's already a great 3rdP search site out there" and then concentrate on more important things? The forum features are pretty poor, but eve-search does make up for a LOT of the shortcomings which is awesome for a 3rd party app. Has this made CCP complacent with regard to the forum?

But as for the original wondering, the forum code wasn't high on the todo list even before EVE-Search was launched so I'm not entirely sure that the webcell would have made any different choices when it comes to forum features. /c Secure 3rd party service

You'd have to ask them about that. As for coffee, I rather have a Quafe or Coke since I don't drink coffee. And as for talking code... is that is another word for something else then sure lol Secure 3rd party service
