It strikes me that as we are the people who fund the game. If we wish to discuss conversations or interactions with the GM's, then we should be entitled to. Who holds them accountable?? Has a GM's action ever been overturned or do they live in a world where every action they take is deemed 'perfect'.
Please note, I have no axe to grind and haven't taken into question any action by a GM. It's just something that bugs me.

You're not allowed to discuss GM conversations for fear that one contradicts the other or shows ignorance of a fact.
That's not an insult to GM's; mistakes can happen.
Also, it's a bit rude to post a private conversation without all parties' agreement.

Well IMO it's to stop the general community seeing how dumb/useless 90% of the GM's are.

They don't let you post GM convos because then it would be entirely to easy to prove how often they contridict eachother.
