I'm in FW with Gallente in a corp. I have very high caldari and amarr standing. I've brought my Gallente standing all the way down to -4.20 from -6 something with dilpo 4, Diplo 5 should get me into -3 something.
The problem I'm having is that I can't gain gallente standing since I can't run missions. I still can't run minmatar missions either, I know those are also supposed to help. I also know of SoE but those haven't changed my gallente standing either. Is there anything I can do to get it to -2? Once I'm there I'm fine. I did some FW stuff the other day and took down something in contested caldari space. But that didn't seem to effect my standings at all.
Can anyone offer some tips?

Keep running plexes in contested systems. Every 3-4 plexes captured in a contested system while you are inside (i.e. you activated the acceleration gate and stay in that area) will count.
You only gain gallente faction standings when you get promoted in the gallente militia.

SoE storyline missions should have some effect on Gallente standing, normal missions will not, just as normal missions don't give standings boosts to that faction, just the corp and agent.
Since you're already in FW via a corp, gaining standings via plex capturing will raise Gallente militia standing, giving a promotion that gives a Gallente standings boost every full point of militia standings. Running FW missions with a couple friends would also have the same effect (need the friends as I don't think you can get FW missions personally with low standings either). Good news is, it shouldn't take too many promotions to get from -3 something to -2.
Be warned that this process will naturally lower those Amarr and Caldari standings, especially the FW stuff - using FW methods, those may very well end up negative before you hit positive with Gallente.

You may want to try ORE or Syndicate missions (assuming they both have positive standing with the Federation) if you can. Just an idea.

Thanks everyone. The SoE storylines started to work, I didn't notice it before because the first one I did only gave me a 0.0012% boost or something to Gallente. The next 3 I did gave me 4% so that really made a difference. I also ran 3 complexes like suggested and I noticed a huge bump. Thanks again. |
