It actualy shouldn't even be an option, it should "just be". What I suggest, is that once your shields are back up to full capacity after using your shield booster, that it (your booster) automaticaly shuts off. same as armor repair, and any other mods that keep going even though they are not needed anymore. Shut em off! -------------------------------------------- I've had the same Gurista Imputor on my tail for the past 16 systems..
2004.08.16 21:38:37 - Combat: Your 250mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes Blood Sage, wrecking for 324.9 damage.

it should be an option... either that, or the mods stay on, cycling, but if the shield is full, then no power is consumed(and nothing is repaired if you happen to take damage during that cycle) My Idea Thread

Problem with this is....
You are in a battle, armour tank the enemy, you then get back to 100% armour and it shuts down.
I usually trust my repairer so dont check it, then i suddently look and im in structure cause it turned itself off

Same goes for related devices like Armor and Hull Repairers.

then how bout you can turn it on, and it never turns off. but won't take any cap unless it acutly repairs somhthing?
say you have ur armor repier on you are at 80% armor it repairs u to full (draining cap) then after your full it stops but it keeps staying on. somone hits ur armor again then it drains cap becuse its doing somthing. but after ur fixed again it stops.

And automate yet ANOTHER feature of battle, what ever happened to learning to manage your ship.
Sounds like one more step closer to automated battle where all you do is selected attack, sit back and watch.
I have the body of a supermodel. I just can't remember where I left it... |
