I want to create a new character on my account. My question is what race and ancestory is best for a PVP character? What I mean by that is which one will train the fastest in pvp skills ie. damage, and tank skills? I could care less about the industry skills I have them on this character.

This seems to be bad advise, I would never chose a character based on looks or any role playing crap..
I appreciate your response, but what im looking for is a pilot in the know that doesnt mind sharing which choices on the character creation will give me the best character for a fast learning pvp pilot ie. damage and tanking skills.
I know I can get pvp anytime I want it. All I have to do is just steal from someone or go to lowsec and pick a fight.

Thanks for the advise this is closer to what Im asking, It is not that I want to pvp straight away, it is that I want to get a character created that will give me the best attributes for training a PVP pilot over the long haul.

Ok, maybe I'm blind in one eye and cannot see out of the other but ive have just spent 2 hours reading, and cannot find anything concerning "respec" of a character.
Can you or someone link me to the info on this? Or give a quick run down on what this will mean for me in creating a new character.
Oh BTW this new character I'm creating is on another account.

Ok I finally found a start to what I'm Looking for:
A pvp pilot will need the following skill sets:
Drones = Mem/ Perc
Electronics = Int/ Mem
Engineering = Int/ Mem
Gunnery = Perc/ Will
Mechanic = Int/ Mem
Missles = Perc/ Will
Navagation = Int/ Perc
Spacehip CMD = Perc/ Will
So looking at the above the most important attribute for pvp pilot is perception with 3 primary and 2 secondary.
2nd Most important is Intelligence with 4 primary.
3rd is Memory with 1 primary and 3 secondary.
4th is Willpower with 3 secondary.
So I deduct that it is important for a started pilot for PVP only pilot will require high perception and intelligence attributes in order to train the above skills in the shortest amount of time.
I still would like to hear from someone about which initial setup accomplishes what I am intending.

are popular choices - however in the end [i.e. +2 yrs ]it will not make much differance,
what you could do now is creat a high mem | int char and burn though the learning | support skills and then re-spec to Perception willpower later
though I have to say that more ballanced skill will probably help overall anyway
