Dear CCP, pleae do the right thing and fix the manticore.

Mina Morticia	Posted - 2009.02.22 18:39:00 - [1] Ladies and gentlemen, I can't help but feel that the time has once again come for someone to speak up on behalf of a truly nerfed ship, and I am of course and without any shadow of a doubt talking about the crippled Manticore, a ship, that as a T2 Vessel, should in its own right be able to one-on-one defeat a Prophecy, Harbringer, or Raven, which, as any EVE veteran knows, are all T1 ships. It is simple really. A T2 ship should > a T1 ship especially when you look at the cost desparity between the T2 and T1 ships. However, this is not how things play out in the world of EVE, a manticore attempting to fight any of the three name ships would be dead in a matter of seconds. The manticore, a stealh ship, much like a Klingon Kvort attack cruiser, shold, i think, be able to uncloak and kill a Raven, Prophecy or Harbringer in one or two volleys. Mind you now I am not saying the manticore should be able to do this to T2 ships just T1 ships since it makes sense that T2 > T1 given equal pilot skills. So, here is what I put forward: (a) when a manticore decloaks, the opposing pilot should have to save vs fear or be held motionless for a period of 45-60 seconds. This would give the manticore pilot a chance to either recloak or engage depending on what he or she wishes to do in the given situation. Pilots in T2 ships would not have to make this saving throw. Thank you
