Seems like g0ggalor is playing with words now.
Can you give an example what you mean?
I think the rules apply to players not transfer when they got cash, has lied about skills that they should have. I cant think of other frauds.

Here is the example I had in mind.
There was a character posted on this forum, and arrangement was made in game for character + a slepnier for 17.5B, scammer set up a contract for the slepnier for 17.5B and never transferred the character.
So, my question stands. Is scamming in this way legitimate?

Your best bet is to petition. As long as you followed the forum rules, you should be okay.
In the example I linked above, it is looking like CCP will let the scam stand, since the buyer did not follow forum rules. (ie, wanted to buy char + assets).

Alts! Dont know if its been said before, but people hiding behind alts to bid is wrong. How do we know we arent competing with the owner or a friend? Same rules for coad should be in this section as a preventative measure.
I understand that there will be cases of people who live their whole life in a npc corp, so after my main point I dont have a suggestion.
RL Auctions require pre-registration to even bid, it helps to ensure the lemons dont get in. So I leave it in your capable hands to decide if theres ways to implement or a need.

Items cannot be listed among the character's valuable assets, only skills, implants and reputation. You are buying/selling the character ONLY and nothing else. Ships and items can be readily bought on the market for ISK.
so significant value... i have like damaged frigs all over is it ok if i sell the char with those on there cause i cant contract them and i don twanna fly into 0.0 (due to sling bubbkle camps being an enormous hastle) all the stuff that would be left isnt even worth 10-15 mil just rifters... thanks |

Right click in assets -> destroy should work too.
WCS gimps your fighting abilty. Make your choice BEFORE you undock. Do not complain about a lost ship ever, if you fit for running and go fighting with it |

Hi, maybe this is a dumb question, but how does this work actually? The point I don't understand is, how do I get the money for selling a char if the char is to receive the isk? I've never tried to sell a char before, so I don't know the procedure.
