The auto installer didn't work, it infact broke my client, repair failed. I am fine with this.
I then had to reinstall eve, but it worked. I am fine with this.
So I dock and see I am missing something....
What I saw....

Oh, I only meant that it looks almost like someone could have drawn that in ms paint, I would have suggested clearing the cache files first, before re-installing. |

Only problem I've had is the hangar lights don't work sometimes until I change ships, not tried the CQ yet to see what they've managed to bugger up in there.

Seems you have some corrupted files for whatever reason, to limit this kind of issue you can do some easy nice stuff like update your Net.framework, create connexion exceptions for eve in your AV and FW -eventually disconnect both while dl patch- update your drivers.
You see, I'm not saying CCP does always things right (christ noes, I'm a grand critical spirit !!) but actually a lot of small unpleasant bugs come from client side. You probably issued something related with your patch downloading files, probably corrupted file.
Try to DL manually the patch again in a separate folder then apply it with your AV/FW off. If it still doesn't work, download the latest repair tool (included with your launcher) run it and restart, if it still mess up then delete all Eve files and restart a proper download.
